Not a single seat available. On the filthy side. Pair the ticket and left 10 minutes later. Cannot comprehend how people swim in this water. They don’t even provide you with a towel. Never again.
I was reluctant. It’s a pricy visit but worth. I went in the morning, and it wasn’t crowded. The pools are lovely. Be sure to pick up some flip flops before you arrive (many little shops around town sell them) and grab a towel from your hotel (wink wink), they’re required, and expensive at the baths. No issues as a solo woman. I bought the cabin so I had a private changing room.
When we arrived there seemed to be a problem with the tickets. After 20 minutes and a few telephone calls we got in.
Enjoyable visit to the baths. Outdoor pools are lovely inside looks very tired and old . if you require a sunlounger get there early. would recommend cabin changing ideal for storing belongings
The baths are worth visiting for a relaxing day in Budapest. They were clean, even though the building is worn and could use a refresh. As mentioned in the booking, no towels are provided so we purchased them. At least we have souvenirs? It’s an efficient process to check in and get a changing room.
Pleasant moment considering the temperatures; the activity is relatively expensive, which prevents returning.
Great day at thermal baths - inside and outside baths with different temperatures (the temperature is stated on each thermal bath.) There are also sauna’s here too. Very busy and we were unable to access sun longer as they were all full. There is cafe and refreshments hut which had reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the sandwich bar was closed but we were told to return in an hour but we used the cafe instead. Full day cost approximately £50 per person. We booked the small cabin to secure our items. Tip - bring a towel and suitable footwear for around the thermal baths. Great experience and worth going too.
Terrible!!!! I would not recommend visiting this spa, it’s overpriced, the main pool was out of action when we visited. The indoor pools are the same either end of the building which are in desperate need of some modifications, very old and in disrepair. The sauna we went in smelt old and very musty, needless to say we didn’t go in any of the others. We only stayed for about an hour, and that was enough.
Great to see but SO SO crowded. You could barely find a spot to hang your towel ever mind a chair. The baths were nice but think they should limit the amount they let in.
They made us purchase water shoes before entering because we didnt have any. Cost $37 to purchase. Then once inside we found out we could rent for only $12. The gift shop knew this and intentional had us purchase overpriced shoe's before we could enter. Not impressed. The place was fun but super crowded and not enough chairs to even sit down.
