I've been on a few food tours, and this one ranks on the lower end of the scale. There's the food tour where you're really learning a lot about the role the food plays in the culture while seeing sites, and there's the food tour where you're going to food stops that are in a small tourist area and the guide acts as a host to order for you, handle payment, and make sure you get fed. This tour was more of the latter. Lower on the information scale and the spots did not feel special. I have a friend traveling to Budapest in August and will not recommend this tour. I do not think it was worth the money. Our guide was pleasant and nice to talk to but don't think they were passionate about food.

The Secret Food Tours Budapest Downtown - Food Tour provided a tasty introduction to Budapest on our first day there. György was a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly tour guide.
