Aventura de meio dia de Broome para Horizontal Falls

Make sure you check what time of the tide you will be going through, we book the day of the highest tide but the boat went through just before the turn of the tide so was basically flat. Food really good Tour guides and transport really good. Extremely disappointed as this was what I was looking forward to I even questioned with the booking staff tge day before who assured it would be good. Whats with dynamic pricing

This experience was a once in a life time, jaw dropping, bucket list adventure! I loved every minute, from pickup, to safety instructions, the flight up, the speed boat falls experience, the information, service and passion from all crew and staff, and I felt completely safe! They showcased an amazing wonder that is in our own back yard. I felt proud to know we are respectful and knowledgeable of our heritage. Thank you for this amazing experience! Worth every cent!

All it takes is one lovely person to make magic happen. Jules, you were that person who changed our day & probably our lives. Horizontal Falls has been on our bucket list for years. When we heard it may be closing, we finally saved & decided to make it happen. Then health took a nose dive. After much correspondence with staff beforehand we decided we'd be ok to travel. By the time we reached the hanger for departure we told staff that we could not go. It was too overwhelming & that dream was slipping away. We'd only travelled to Broome from Melbourne for this one thing. Jules was the one person who changed the day. She chatted with us. Reassured us. Helped us. We went. We loved it. Forever grateful. As far as tour inclusions, there's plenty of reviews. We did the Half day tour ex Broome (morning). Flew directly to Horizontal Falls, viewed it from above & then straight into our boat ride through the Falls to witness it's power first hand. A quick breaky & shark "show"/talk back at the pontoon before another boat ride to Cyclone Creek to marvel at the tide markings on the stunning cliffs. Sam, our boat guide, was knowledgeable & passionate. Then it was a scenic flight back to Broome along the coast which is just spectacular - via the Buccaneer Archipelago & Cape Leveque. This trip definitely showcases the vast & magnificent country we have. The pilots do an excellent job of circling to ensure a great view of the Falls (& other highlights) no matter which side of the plane you are sitting on. A well organised & smooth flowing tour. With all the talk of changes to Horizontal Falls tourism, here's hoping that there's a good outcome for everyone & people will still be able to experience the Falls as we did on this tour - in all its glory. It's great to see from the air, but also to experience its might going through. Its important to add in the cultural significance & creation story as Sam did for us, but to remove the full experience would be a blow. Expensive, but it's a vast & amazing place to see. In Australia, unfortunately visiting such beauty comes with a price. Such a privilege to finally make it to such a special place. Just a couple of things that could have improved our experience overall: Be mindful that seats are allocated based on weight distribution so you may not get to sit with your travelling companion. This would be our biggest feedback as this is definitely something that can impact people's flying experience (especially for any nervous flyers). Having said that, let the team know before hand & they do their best to accommodate. But just something to keep in mind as it can definitely increase unnecessary stress. Especially as there are no guarantees! The company could also look at having a liaison at the hanger for people who may need a little extra support or assistance. Without Jules, we would have never seen such a beautiful place.

It was a magic experience, an hours seaplane flight up with great scenery, landing on the ocean bay just outside the falls. Our pilot Captain Jack, our ship captain Sam and all the crew on the floating station all were fabulous (special bonus call out to Gabi and her scrambled eggs), helpful, informative and passionate about what they were doing, including respectful indigenous elements. We were lucky with our timing, as the falls we’re running at maximum volume and looked magestic. The fun didn’t end there with breakfast on the pontoon, a swim beside 5 or 6 tawny nurse sharks and then up into cyclone creek for a close look at the local landscape and a better understanding of the magnitude of the tides that make the falls possible. Then take off from the bay and another hour or so fabulous viewing on the way back (lower this time and on a different track to show different sights to the first time). Well organised and a real treasure to be involved in. Highly recommended.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience. Seaplane great aerial views powerboat close encounter. Barramundi lunch was sensational. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, and very informative. Can highly recommend.

The Horizontal Falls is a phenomenally beautiful experience, not to be missed!! Seeing one million litres of water flow through this narrow passage every second is mind blowing!

The experience was extremely well organised and supportive with transfers from accommodation through to well sequenced activities including an informative flight from Broome (thankyou Ben)- showcasing the beautiful country below a short and relaxing cruise up Talbot creek (Taylah was a wonderful host) while staff prepared a beautiful fresh barramundi lunch. The highlight was the jet boat trip through horizontal falls with an expert driver (Ado - what a ride!) Exhilarating!!!

Brilliant - that’s all I need to say!

The only negative was, that I was seated on the right hand side of the plane on the way to the falls and my son was seated on the left hand side. He saw all of the coast line and the features referred to by the guide and I , for a significant part of the >1 hour flight, only saw the ground inland from the coast. I know this as my son took photos. All the people on the right hand side did see some of the coast when the pilot circled around at one or 2 particular spots. Both sides of the plane did get a great view of the falls.
