Incredible tour!! Perfect amount of stops, walking and then bay boat tour. Our tour guide was amazing! Great stories and info! Chris is the best!
We're thrilled you enjoyed the tour and appreciated Chris's guiding skills! Thank you for sharing your experience!
We had an awesome 4th of July, 2 hr walking tour of the Freedom Trail then a one hour harbor cruise with Boston Hidden Gems. It was their “One if by land, Two if by sea” tour. The meeting place was easy to find. Our guide was timely and did a good job of keeping us all together during the craziness of downtown Boston on the 4th of July. It was hot but he did his best to keep us in the shade when he could. We were lucky enough to see the USS Constitution while it was firing its cannons—very cool. It was educational and fun. We learned a lot about history and Boston. After the tour, he directed us to a great Italian restaurant for lunch. I thought the price of the tour was really good for the value. Would recommend.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled you enjoyed Chris's guiding and historical insights, and that he made it a great day touring the North End and Harbor on a very special Independence Day!
BJ was an informed, friendly, tour guide. The concern was the 90-degree temperature! HOT walking from downtown to North Boston. HOT walking from North Boston to the harbor. HOT "cruise" with no cool air blowing through the boat. I would have gladly paid more for a cool water/snack break on the freedom trail tour.
We're glad you appreciated the guide but understand the heat concerns. We are always considering ways to make our tours better, and adding a break on days over a heat threshold may well be worth the update - thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Jenny was great we loved it!! It was so informational and fun to meet and listen in a group.

This was a great tour! Maria was very knowledgeable about her city and even had pictures to share! We learned a lot about Boston and it's storied past! We got great tips for visiting shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the boat tour and seeing the Naval Yard and ships along with views of Bunker Hill and the city! A well thought out tour! Maria was so nice and entertaining!
We're glad to hear you had a great time on our Land & Sea tour! Thanks for your review!
Mark was an excellent guide! The tour included great sights, both walking and through the harbor. We traveled with our kids and the grandparents and the tour was great for all of them. We weren't able to tour the Old North Church due to a funeral service inside, but that was understandable and didn't hold that against the tour company. Very thorough historical tour. Would highly recommend!
Hi Trina, Thanks so much for your review! We're glad to hear you had a great time with Mark! You also should have received a partial refund for the Old North Church closure - let us know if you did not. We appreciate your understanding!
The guide was good but he needed a louder mic. Also Viator needs to find better restrooms and a longer time to have a chance to get through the line.
Thanks for your review! We'll take your notes into consideration, and we're glad you had an overall good tour with Mark!
I brought a friend visiting from Bogota on this tour. It was a great overview of Boston. Mark was a great tour guide. He had great stories. I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone.
Thanks so much for your review! Glad to hear you and your friend enjoyed our walking & boat tour of Boston!
