Blue Hole Private Tour de Ocho Rios

This was my second trip with Dr Fun and it just gets better every time! Not only did he put up with the shennanigans of our girl group welcomingly, but everything was organised down to a t. From transport from the airport, tio tickets to attractions sorted beforehand, even taking us on side quests - Dr Fun was prompt, reliable and resourceful through it all. He has an indepth knowledge on the history of Jamaica and a contagious fun vibe which was evident from pick up to drop off. Dr Fun makes the best tour guide not just because of the above but also because of the genuine passion and love he has for his country which he then extends to his guests. I cannot recommend him enough and will be booking him any time I'm in the north side of Jamaica.

From start to finish, Dr Fun Tours delivered an experience that was nothing short of fabulous. The Blue Hole was absolutely breathtaking, crystal-clear water, lush surroundings, and pure natural beauty that felt almost unreal. The staff at Island Gully Falls were phenomenal: professional, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and thrilled every step of the way. At Dunn’s River Falls, the self-guided experience gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace while still feeling supported and encouraged. Even the rides to and from the port were part of the fun, full of entertainment, fascinating stories, and rich insight into the history and culture of Jamaica. One of the highlights was stopping at local spots along the way, tasting authentic Jamaican cuisine, supporting local businesses, and experiencing the island beyond the typical tourist lens. It felt real, personal, and deeply connected to the culture. From ages 12 to 65, every single one of us loved every minute of our time with Dr. Fun. Laughter, adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories, this tour had it all.

We had an amazing day with Delton from Dr. Fun tours. We were arriving in Falmouth on the Symphony of the Seas for a High School spring break trip with the 5 families.He picked us at the port as scheduled, as we drove to The Blue Hole he told us about all the Jamaica History and pointed out all the sites. We did the Blue Hole then took us to a beach bar near the port on the way back. Delton was professional, safe, educational. Highly Highly Recommended!! Thank you Delton!

Denton was absolutely fabulous, loved his song 😀, he was a wealth of knowledge when we asked all sorts of questions about Jamaica. Our journey was full of fun, singing and good tunes. We arrived at the Blue Hole before anyone else so we had the place to ourselves which made our photos even more spectacular. We was under no pressure to rush 😀🇯🇲 From the Blue Hole we went to Nine Mile, again the journey was full of happiness and I believe this was all done to Denton and the fact we had opted For a private excursion it meant we had Denton all to ourselves and could take our time. Fantastic value for money. Denton we will be back in 2025 so I will be in touch nearer the time, I will certainly be recommending him to anyone I know who is planning a trip To Jamaica. Ye Mon 🇯🇲❤️

Delton was a pleasure to be guided by. He was easy to communicate with both pre and post-tour to The Blue Hole. He was at the determined meeting location off the ship as agreed. It was easy peasy connecting with him. He was knowledgeable and a fun guy to spend time with. He seemed well-known and well-connected within the Ocho Rios and Blue Hole communities. He wasn't rushed with us and we felt very comfortable with his abilities to navigate around the area. His touring van was air-conditioned, clean and kept in a well-maintained condition. If you are in Ocho Rios, we HIGHLY recommend Delton and Dr. Fun Tours for all of your activities. We went to the Blue Hole today, and had the best morning! Pickup was right on time from our hotel lobby, and Delton is incredibly knowledgeable about Jamaican history and culture. He made sure we had the best guide at the Blue Hole (shout out to Javier!). Safe driver, clean vehicles, absolutely trustworthy. We will be travelling again with Delton tomorrow…he is the go to guy in Ocho Rios! Book with him - you won’t regret it.

We were picked up ahead of time from our hotel in Ocho Rios. Our driver was super friendly and shared all his knowledge about the local area and the Jamaican way of living. We got to drive through villages and see some amazing things, before getting dropped off at the best stop for our trip. We were able to leave all of belongings in the vehicle, knowing they were in safe hands! The driver then waited for us and we were under no pressure to rush back to the vehicle. My family originally booked a private tour to Blue Hole and we were so pleased with Alrecht (so sorry if I'm misspelling your name!) as our wonderful, informative driver. Our personal lifeguard, Javier was super patient with me while I contemplated jumping off the highest platform (I'm afraid of heights) and he took excellent care of my 7 yr old while my husband and I were doing the activities making sure my kiddo was safe in the river. The photographer was also great and shot stuff on both my phone and his camera. I felt the cost of photos was pretty reasonable. We had such a great time that we booked a full day private tour to Ocho Rios with Delton, the owner. From the moment we were picked up we were given all the information about Jamaica that anyone could ask for. We had a lovely drive and Delton is a pro "PHD" (professional pothole dodger). Once we arrived in Kingston, Delton dropped us off at the Bob Marley Museum and met my family outside of the gift shop as soon as we were done. Delton showed us various parts of Kingston - both wealthy and impoverished areas. Delton explained a lot about the history of Jamaica and made sure to make stops along the way that further educated us on historical figures, the emancipation of slaves, and how Jamaicans live their everyday lives. It was truly an enriching experience. I highly recommend Dr. Fun Tours - if it weren't for this small local owned business my family would have never left the resort and learned what a wonderful country we almost missed out on experiencing.
