It’s a must to go to these two places u and the kids will love it holding baby crocks to going up river and watching massive crocks come up to 2 ft away awesome day out Yes fall s in my opinion better than dunes river falls even got a rope swing into the river and after u climbed the falls can chill in the swimming pools before having lunch a must see
This trip was actually arranged by Tui after the original tour company cancelled the trip, so we were already sceptical...no need to worry! Picked up on time at our hotel and on to YS Falls first, the tour guide was Chantelle, who we had met for the seven Mile Beach tour and she was hilarious and so well informed. Transported by tractor trailer to the falls was fun, and what a spectacular sight the Falls are, you can swim or rope hang and drop into the cool water, or swim in the ground level man made pool, then have a lovely lunch. Very well organised with stewards to help, lovely people and a brilliant attraction for all the family. On to Black River where we boarded a motorised boat and sailed the three miles of waterways with a superbly knowledgeable captain who told us all about the wildlife and vegetation whilst sailing through mangrove swamps. All the crocodiles had names, and he would call them out of the undergrowth for photos, fantastic to see these creatures and take away some great shots. All in all a fantastic day, seeing things you only see o travel programmes, thank you to everyone involved.
Hi Alan, we are very happy to know that you enjoyed your experience and thank you for a great review
Highly recommended, visited glorious falls, swam in the pools (take water shoes as rocks are sharp) guides friendly and helpful. After tasty lunch at falls, travelled to town of Black River and enjoyed over an hour cruising the Black River. Crocs aplenty
