A retirada em sua acomodação na Cidade do Cabo será às 6:00 da manhã por um guia/motorista particular em um veículo particular.
Damos um passeio até ao Cabo da Boa Esperança e ao Farol de Cape Point, onde iremos explorar os Dias & Vasco Da Gama, Cruzes. Esses dois senhores foram os primeiros europeus que chegaram à Cidade do Cabo por volta de 1487 e 1495. Tire uma foto atrás do icônico quadro de nomes do Cabo da Boa Esperança.
Do Cabo da Boa Esperança, teremos a opção de fazer uma curta caminhada até Cape Point ou pegar o Funicular. Exploraremos também o ponto mais a sudoeste de África, conhecido como Cape Point, onde a fria Benguela do Oceano Atlântico se encontra com a corrente quente das Agulhas do Oceano Índico. Vamos explorar o farol, etc.
Continuamos nosso tour até a colônia de Pinguins de Boulder onde visitaremos os Pinguins Africanos. Faça uma caminhada ao longo do calçadão a caminho do mirante e fique de olho em uma ou duas dessas encantadoras criaturas marinhas que podem estar caminhando ao seu lado.
Damos um passeio ao longo da unidade Chapmans Peak, se estiver operacional. Faremos uma breve parada de 10 minutos no mirante para tirar algumas fotos. Em seguida, seguimos ao longo da costa atlântica passando por Camps Bay, Clifton e Bantry Bay até o V&A Waterfront.
Observe que seu guia/motorista não se juntará a você no barco ou na ilha, pois haverá um guia turístico residente na ilha que fará uma visita guiada. Chegaremos ao terminal de embarque de barcos às 10h30. A balsa partirá para a Ilha Robben às 11h. A duração total do passeio será de 3,5 horas a 4 horas, incluindo traslados de barco. Ao chegar à ilha, você desembarcará no Murray’s Bay Harbor e fará uma breve caminhada até o ônibus que o transportará pela ilha. Um ex-prisioneiro político fará uma visita guiada. Isso inclui uma visão da cela de Nelson Mandela. Você também terá a oportunidade de fazer a Longa Marcha para a Liberdade seguindo os passos de Nelson Mandela. Após o passeio, você retornará ao Clocktower Precinct no V&A Waterfront aproximadamente às 14h30. Had such a fantastic experience. The day was action packed starting with Robben Island and then driving all around the major stopping points Boulders beach, Cape Point, Simon's Town, etc. Rya was a FANTASTIC guide, incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an amazing tour with our guide talent he did a great job and showed us the most beautiful points at cape point. We met new people and had a really good time. If i am going back to cape town i would love to do this tour again.
We had the best time with Clement Mulumba as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and an excellent driver. We would absolutely do another tour with him. We learned so much history, saw so many beautiful vistas, cool animals, and did it all while avoiding the crowds. Thank you, Clement, for all the amazing photos you took as well. The trip to Robben Island was informative albeit a bit more crowded than we expected. Appreciated that the guide shared his own personal experiences as a political prisoner. We thoroughly enjoyed the Boulders Penguin Colony, the visit to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Had some time for photography and taking in the views. Ran out of daylight for Chapman’s Point. Would recommend this type of tour for folks that do not mind a full day of activities. Thank you Jeff for a nice outing, we will definitely be back to Cape Town.

Nathan, our tour guide was amazing. His knowledge of the area, history and interesting anecdotes were very much appreciated. As we waited for the Robben island boat he gave us a mini tour of a very interesting couple of blocks nearby. He was friendly, professional and enthusiastic — we enjoyed his delightful tour of this area. He checked with us on our preferences for which things we were most interested in and ensured we used Flex Time in the best way. Nathan showed us many fabulous photo points, helped us find wild life (well-camouflaged to us until he pointed them out and got us to all the best points of interest on this tour. His commentary on the significance of locations, history, people, customs and food along the way was entertaining as well as informative. Pickup and drop off were flawless. Truly a 5 star experience. Being in Cape Town for a few days we needed to make the best use of our time. After some research we decided that the tour that ticked a few of our boxes was the Robben island tour with the cape of good hope and cape point would fit the bill. We decided to use beyond Africa safari tours. Booking was simple and all tickets and instructions provided before we travelled. Nathan our driver for the day picked us up early in a beautiful car and we set off. First stop was the ferry to Robben island, Nathan stayed with us till we boarded the ferry and was there waiting when we returned 4 hours later, if you get a chance to do Robben island it is well worth the time. After that we when for a drive towards penguin beach, on the way he picked a great restaurant overlooking an harbour. Penguin beach was a delight and a must visit. The over to cape of good hope (very windy) for photo opportunity and then cape point. After this we did the drive back to cape town via chapmans peak, absolutely stunning view and then back to the hotel. I have to mention Nathan he was knowledgeable and funny all day and we learnt such a lot from him about the places we visited and also local life and local history. We were sad to say goodbye at the end and when we do visit cape town again it will be our pleasure to use this company again and thier great ambassador Nathan.
