The artistry was beautiful and the performers were really top-notch. However, the low price-tag of this show attracted the basest, most disreputable tourists you can imagine. Laughing and talking throughout the show, getting up and leaving, showing disrespect to the culture and performance. Shame on you. My colleagues and I found the music lovely and the puppets fun. I would recommend this to a friend if you could screen the audience members.

Scam - tickets can be bought at venue much cheaper and with little to no que. When we turned up, our tickets hadn't been arranged and despite buying the VIP skip the que ticket, ironically ended up being the only ones stuck outside waiting. Ended up being given someone elses tickets sat in a different place in the theatre to where bought. No audio guide provided, which was essential to understand what was going on. The show itself was good.

A very nice experience beautifully performed puppet show. It is a must see while in Ha Noi. Though we could not follow the story line completely,the pamphlet explained it,which we read later.

Nice experience! Kids thought it was funny, too. Worth a visit though. Cultural getaway in the air conditioning.

A very beautiful experience of a little-known Vietnamese art. The dexterity of the puppeteers is astonishing, and the musical and sung accompaniment is of very good quality

Should have been more organised for pre ticket collection and "VIP" skip the line service. Not enough info. The show itself when using the additionally paid for ear audio translators was great. But when paying extra for a VIP described service, definitely dont expect to be sitting 4th row behind heaps of people and queuing and waiting without instructions or info on how to enter the show etc.

Lovely show, very original for Vietnamese culture. Recommended for everyone, easy access.

Wonderful show, well worth it money. Easy to follow the story line but can get the head phones if you want to.

What a fantastic exposure to folk music and puppetry! Just wish with the $16 ticket we would have gotten a program and possibly offered the headphones for translations. But overall without these we got the story as we have been in country for many weeks now. The views are a bit blocked by tall people in front of you, but we made do. No worried if you are in the A row not seeing the activity on the water. Definitely a must do recommendation while in Hanoi!
