I visited Disneyland with a one-day ticket during a heat wave. Although there were many beautiful and magical moments, the overall experience left mixed impressions. Immediately upon entering the park, we purchased Premier Access for several attractions because the waiting times were abnormally long. The system worked great and saved us a lot of time, but the additional cost, on top of the already expensive ticket, is really too high. I was pleasantly surprised that it was possible to fill bottles with drinking water at several places, and at two places we also encountered a cooling mist, which was extremely welcome during the extreme heat. Unfortunately, a large number of attractions were temporarily closed during the day. I don’t know if this was due to the heat wave, but it certainly diminished the experience and I think that visitors should have been compensated in some way. An additional disappointment was the cancellation of the very popular Frozen show, scheduled for 3:20 PM, just four minutes before it started. I understand that safety and weather conditions are a priority, but when multiple attractions are canceled during the day, it would be fair to offer at least some kind of gesture to visitors. The most unpleasant experience happened at Crush's Coaster. I was standing in the shade of an umbrella next to a side line (I'm not sure what it was for exactly) to take a picture of my child as he rode the ride. There was another lady standing next to me who also wanted to take a picture of her children. We weren't bothering anyone or obstructing their passage. A park employee came over, moved the rope so that we suddenly "fell" into that line, saying "This is my line" and told us to move, pointing towards the sun. I think it was a very ugly and unnecessary gesture. There were very few people in that line, we weren't bothering anyone, and given the extreme temperatures, I would have expected at least some understanding and compassion from the employees, rather than being literally sent to stand in the bright sun. Disneyland is still a special place with a wonderful atmosphere and attractions, but the numerous closures, last-minute cancellations, high additional costs, and these unpleasant experiences with employees significantly diminished the magic of our visit. I expected more care and empathy for visitors, especially in extreme weather conditions.
I came to Disneyland Paris for a solo trip. The tickets are way more affordable than the United States. I had a great time here ! Loved going to the ratatouille restaurant for dinner.
Queues for all rides are horrendous, even the ones for small children unless you are willing to pay through the nose for a fast pass so without doubt the best time to go is the middle on November when it's freezing cold pouring with rain and no one else wants to go!!! You will then be able to thoroughly enjoy the rides instead of spending the day standing in the sun trying to playcate your kids
Everything very practical, we had the tickets quickly, everything flowed very well. Disney's Paris is great, much less litasa
Multiple rides were shut down & several shows were canceled or modified. Finding a restaurant was difficult, there are definitely not enough restaurants for the number of tickets that are sold. Not a very magical experience 😢
It’s smaller than Disneyland in Cali, but still amazing! They had amazing statues of characters, but maleficients dragon was closed when I went :(
Great experience! Top: 👍 Use the app to be informed of waiting period for each attraction. 👍 Super well organized entrance in attraction to make the crowd flow 👍 Toillets are plenty and normally clean 👍 Attractions are super fun and for all sort of preference 👍 Storage of belongings for whole day avaliable for several formats 👍 Incredible parades, performances /shows Bottom: 👎 Meals avaliable are not very diverse or healthy if you are looking for a lower budget choice (food is expensive) 👎 Queu areas could have folding seats to make the wait more beareable 👎 No vehicles avaliable to rent for small kids (around 5-9years old) . It would help a lot to deal with tired legs in the end of the day 👎 Weelchair access seems used without compliance, so people that don't need it are using it
Its the worsed experience i would not recommend it to anyone, its stress miles walking to stand for hours for rides that lasts less thsn 2 minutes, prices ridiculous food and disney stands and shops so disappointed the whole experience i will stay closer to home in future a nightmare french are so unfriendly omg
The park is very clean, but the staff... between those who talk about their problems in the corner of the park... well, we don't care, and another one with a very high-pitched voice barely 20 years old, not very sociable... the magic is fading a bit... Okay, there are only 5 people in the whole park, but still, we are at Disneyland Paris... on my last visit, I had 2 staff members who were chatting in front of me: and to think that some people pay to come here... Okay... so thank you for keeping your conversations to yourselves. We come to escape our daily lives and rediscover our inner child, not to hear about your staff's problems...
The parks are relatively smaller than Orlando, Florida, but still enjoyable none the less. Que times are typically as noted for each ride, so be prepared to wait for popular rides. I love that the park is easily accessible via the Metro. Very convenient and clean
