This was amazing and I would do again. After the tour we had lunch in the Back yard of the palace. Highly recommended to visit and have lunch. The walk around the grounds is awesome.
What a wonderful tour! The young lady we had (forgive me, I can not remember her name), but I will tell you she was a beautiful black woman, probably mid twenties, with a sassy sense of humor! I was on crutches, and she made sure I was ok every step of the tour! She even helped three ladies in our group check their luggage somewhere before entering the palace! Once you enter the Palace, you go at your own speed (if you are at all handicapped, I suggest you ask for the office that caters to you; they supply elevators and shortcuts!) The whole tour was fascinating! Be sure to stop. near the gardens and have tea or a sandwich - very worth it! (I might add, always check out your meeting spot and transportation the day before. Good planning is essential. No one wants to wait for latecomers.
This tour was so much fun. David our tour guide was great. We are a family of 5 and he definitely entertained us. It’s worth the money . He gave us lots of information that we did not know. Once we’re done with the waking tour they gave us the tickets to tour the palace. They gave us headsets and we walked around on our own. I definitely recommend to do this tour.
From the beginning entrance to the end of the tour, everything was well organized. We appreciate the audio guide each of us used as we walked through each state room and learned about its function and history. In addition, there were friendly staff everywhere...so you're never lost and your questions always answered!
Jeramy was great. So appreciated the personal audio. Being a senior, the walking pace was just right.
Easy meet up point and the audio devices were great so everyone could hear the tour guide. Enjoyed the tour guides energy and historical information along the walk to the Buckingham Palace!
Very good & informational tour that really covered the vast history of England & the Monarchy. I recommend
That it doesn't start at the Palace - totally on us for not reading the information completely but thankfully we still caught our group with Louise. Had a lot of interesting commentary to cover sites up the Mall but was heavy on American references. Once you get into the Palace, its a Palace based audio tour. Still great, thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
We found out that people could pay 35 pounds to tour the palace and grounds. I paid around $75 for my Viator tour. . The Viator guide spent only 45 minutes with us and then we were on our own for the next 2 hours to tour the palace. She was a great tour guide but we feel like we grossly overpaid with Viator when we paid so much more for a tour that we basically did ourselves. Why don’t you just sell entry tickets to the palace instead of saying you’re providing a tour?
Dear John_L, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your kind words about your guide — we’re glad to hear you enjoyed her knowledge and delivery. We’re very sorry, however, for any confusion about what was included in your booking. When booking through Viator, the tour includes not only entry to the Palace with an audio guide but also a guided walking tour before entering the Palace itself. This portion is led by a licensed guide to give additional context and insights that are not part of a standard entry ticket, which is why the price is higher than admission alone. That said, we understand your concern and appreciate your perspective. We’ll review how the tour is presented on third-party platforms to ensure the inclusions are communicated more clearly, so guests know exactly what to expect. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve both transparency and the overall experience for future travelers.
Louise was fabulous. Full of historical information given in a very amusing way. We loved the tour and especially her.
