Well worth a visit

We had a lovely time at the habitat. Every our taxi driver said he’d forgotten it was there and that he would have to take his son. The lions were great to see. We saw them being fed by staff and also paying guests which was great.

We Loved our Lion Habitat Adventure

My husband and I did a Behind the Scenes Tour with Kelly and had a great time. She was very knowledgeable about all of the animals and birds and made the tour fun. We loved the experience so much that we added on feeding a lion. We both got to feed Benny and it was quite an experience! They're doing great work at this facility. I highly recommend visiting and taking this tour.

Not a Zoo, but necessary

During a recent Vegas vacation, my wife and I stopped in at Lion Habitat Ranch. We had heard about this facility from the days when the lions used to be on exhibit at the MGM Grand. When off exhibit, they were housed here. That exhibit closed in 2012. We did not book a tour! We simply paid admission, signed a waiver and wandered in. This is a fantastic facility for the care they give to the animals that they house. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, including volunteers. Note carefully: THIS IS NOT A ZOO! It is a small housing area for the offspring of the original MGM lions. Some may look at the chain link cages and dirt floors and want to dismiss this facility or consider it cruel. Think for a minute. While these are wild animals, these lions are been born and raised in captivity. They even come when called by name. They are given enrichment daily to continue the growth of their natural instincts, but again, these cats are captive born. It isn't cruel. They are well fed, and well cared for. This is a good experience to enable children to see these magnificent animals up close. The facility also houses a pair of emu, an ostrich, and several birds and tortoises. The facility is clean and well maintained. it doesn't take more than an hour to tour the facility. I also recommend stopping by the gift shop. All proceeds go toward the care and feeding of these animals. All in all, we had a very nice visit.

Smaller than what I...

Smaller than what I expected but cool experience. For the price it’s ok. Wish there was more interaction with lions

The lions are spectacular!

It’s definitely something different to do. Great for the kids! We can get up close with the lions. It’s not crowded and the keepers are very informative and friendly. I was surprised to hear that a lion’s roar is nothing to what I thought it was. 10 out of 10.
