O Museu Poldi Pezzoli possui mais de 6.200 objetos inventariados. Entre suas principais atividades estão: conservação e restauração de obras, exposição dos mesmos de acordo com os mais atualizados critérios museográficos, aquisição de novas obras e coleções inteiras, estudo, desenvolvimento de atividades educacionais voltadas para todas as categorias de público. Nos últimos anos, grande importância tem sido dada à comunicação de iniciativas promovidas pelo museu através das mídias sociais e da internet.

A preparação da visita pode ser feita através do site do Museu, que também oferece a possibilidade, aos proprietários de smartphones, de fazerem a ligação a um conjunto de dados sobre a história da casa e das obras durante a visita. Quando o museu entra hoje no Museu, que é cada vez mais capilar através das redes sociais, tem à sua disposição audioguias para adultos (em seis línguas: chinês, francês, japonês, inglês, italiano, russo). Ao lado das obras você encontra cartões em dois idiomas e com informações sobre a técnica, procedência, datação e restauração das próprias obras. I have been to amazing museums all over Europe and other continents. I was absolutely mesmerized and stunned at the most important collection. I stayed 2 times longer and went around twice. I preferred it to Pinacoteca Ambrosia Museo and the Pinacoteca Brera. I think for a private collection it was definitely on the levels of the Borge and Medici's .

Very nice museum. I don't have much knowledge of art history but the audio guide made me discover some paintings .( Not all are commented). I was particularly impressed by the gun room, clocks and fountains. The staff is helpful and friendly. I don't regret my visit.
The Museo Poldi Pezzoli is a short walk from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The former residence turned museum houses an incredible collection of art, including works by masters like Botticelli and Bellini. What I like about this museum is that it's not huge or overwhelming and it has a little bit of something for everyone; paintings, clocks, tapestries. Strolling through the galleries felt like I was enjoying a personal tour of a private collection. I recommend stopping by for a few hours even if you aren't into art; there's something for everyone here to enjoy.
A museum of note in Milan is located on Via Manzoni: the POLDI PEZZOLI MUSEUM, a refined residence-museum that exhibits a priceless private collection of Renaissance paintings (Piero della Fancesca, Bellini, Botticeli, Mategna,...), clocks, weapons, tapestries armor and historical furniture in an atmosphere of private palace.
The museum is located in the center of Milan, in what was once Poldi Pezzoli's house, Bella l'armeria with truly unique pieces, perhaps just a little dark. Beautiful clocks, the Persian carpet of the sixteenth century and paintings, ranging from 300 to 800. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The Poldi-Pezzoli museum is a pearl in a city rich in museums .I wanted to visit it for years and finally I succeeded.The museum is one of the most beautiful of its kind and is absolutely worth a visit if you are for a few days in Milan, the money is spent very well.S enters and you immediately see the staircase and then many beautiful paintings, from Botticelli to Bellini, from piero del Pollaiolo to Lucas Cranach from Canaletto to Hayez and then many others .The library is very beautiful as well as the hall of sundials , beautiful Dante's studio and every corner of the museum, in a word Wonderful !
A house museum that passes and you do not know it .beautiful with a multitude of works of art .fascinating and recommended.we had a guide who explained the whole family history and the various works .a jewel of Milan
I really enjoyed the design and layout of this small but unique museum with ceramics, china, paintings, etc. What impressed me most was the collection of ancient clocks and pocket watches. They look stunning.
