Got to Venice airport good airport reasonably priced god a ticket at the airport for the water is 16euro one way. Tip Get a two day day rider I visited every wart of Venice by boat good value.
The staff are unfriendly. To make it even worse, the company just sells tickets regardless of their limited capacity. Many people left behind despite having tickets and unfortunately most of them will lose their flights. Don’t recommend at all.
Lovely day for it. Just bear in mind that it will take roughly 70-90 minutes to reach San Marco. Very easy to use just go to the counter and they give you a ticket.
The shuttle service is very efficient. It is a long way from the baggage claim to the dock but they have a people mover to make it easier.
More information needed as a long walk to pick up from airport and then we waited for over an hour. Consider wait times and journey times as we were onboard for over an hour When booking this should all be made obvious then people should expect it.
Very organised and an amazing experience Venice is magical The guys helped with the luggage and assisted people on and off the boat
It's basically a commercial city bus via water from the airport to the island. The price of the ticket was 18 Euro ($21). I was expecting a private water taxi for the 4 of us. You should spell that out in the description, that it's basically a city bus. Manage expectations. We waited 45 min to get on..That's not really an issue, after we figured it out. Luckily it wasn't very hot and there was a breeze. The other issue is I specifically asked 3 people, cashier, ticket taker, and crowning which stop was for the train station, the second stop. The boat didnt stop at the train station and when I queried the coxswain, he said this was a "special" boat, and they didnt stop at the train station. So instead of a 5 min walk, with rolling luggage, on cobblestones/tile, we had a 30 minute trek over 5 bridges. Passengers and crew should call out the taxi stops. I would call it "typical Italian 'don't give a crap' about your problem" attitude by the water taxi coxswain. Not recommended. Pay for a private taxi regardless of the cost, which wasn't that much higher.
I had an excellent experience. If you pay attention to the instructions you will have no problems. Everyone was super polite and helpful. The water buses run about every 25 minutes. I took the red line to the Rialto Bridge stop and my hotel was only a 3 minute walk away.
Very easy to find water bus. You will need to know which line you want, ie: blue, red etc. The ride itself was enjoyable.
The water taxi is fine but if I were to do it again, I would just buy tickets locally. It's cheaper than Viator and you can get options that may be more cost effective depending on which specific islands of Venice you want to visit. Be prepared to wait. Some of the logistics are somewhat disorganized.
