The 6:30 trip is not recommended. Other ships saw manta, but our ship didn't see it. We could only hear that others saw it. Manta didn't come near our ship.
Really good! Good for families and kids with the instructors really knowledgeable and friendly. Safe and fun
It was the last manta ray viewing late at night. I felt the care was given to make sure everyone understood the precautions and appreciated them safely. Manta rays were swimming gracefully under our bellies many times. We could see fish and juveniles other than manta rays. It was so elegant and I could enjoy Hawaii time at night. Finally, there was the trouble of the boat getting stuck, but we were also grateful for your help in relaxing us without worrying us.
Only spent 25 minutes in water, and saw only one small Manta Ray swam by far away for several seconds. I can see much better in an aquarium without all the hazzle, time and cost. Not allow to wear sandals or swim shoes on the boat so as not to scratch the deck. The lack of rays maybe due to the fact that we had the 6:30 pm tour which is still too bright in the sky. If so, the vendor should not arrange such an early time to maximize their income.
Too much $$$ for the poor service
The experience was fastastic and breathtaking. To see the manta rays in their natural environment, feeding on the plankton was otherworldly. Thanks to the entire crew who were fun and professional. Loved Deavin’s dry sense of humor!
Awesome experience, the guide, the captain, the lifeguard and the host were all great and made for a fast check in process to getting into the water. We saw a lot of action! Even if there was no action, just the experience of boating and getting into the ocean in the dark with all kinds of little fish was incredible all on its own! Highly recommend. No fluff , all game with these guys! Love it
Our family had a great time on this tour. Deavon was great at checking us in and then Kalia, Rory, and Greg were helpful and insightful on the boat. Manta rays glided and rotated right by us. Amazing experience. Quick boat ride to the viewing spot and quick return trip.
Mantas were the highlight of this experience, unfortunately, your company was not! Extra charge for rental of wetsuits is insane when other companies include in the price. If suits aren’t included in price, that should be up front and not communicated the day of, asking for a reservation text with no communication back. The instruction on where to go and wait for the boat lacked specifics. Instead, you had a large group of guests waiting at the dock and wondering which zodiac was ours. The fact that you make your guests remove shoes on a busy dock and walk to the boat is concerning. Other companies take the tub to the side of the boat and allow guests to deposit shoes before embarking. Captain and crew were mostly friendly, however, upon entering the water, my boyfriend (a trained diver) lost his snorkel and dove down to get it. Unfortunately, he was unable to retrieve it and had to return to the boat to get another one while everyone else prepared for the mantas. Needless to say, he was behind trying to get his gear back on and was trying to catch up placing the floatation device around his ankles when your female staff member swam over to us on the end and rudely said to him “ why aren’t your feet in the floatation?” I know it’s hard to watch a large group of people in the water but next time your staff should ask guests is everyone ok and are we ready? Please, don’t assume a person is not following rules when, in fact, they are struggling with gear. Personally, I have gone with a few other companies before and they are far more organized but wanted to try yours… now we know. I think your company is small with lots of room for growth.
Great this was my first experience snorkelling and getting close with mantas next time my kids to enjoy this fabulous experience and share with friends
