Será um passeio muito diferente dos passeios clássicos pelas ruas comerciais lotadas, pois cada canto da Cidade Velha pode revelar uma surpresa. Juntos veremos os pontos mais interessantes da Cidade Velha, conversaremos sobre história e costumes locais e aprenderemos uns com os outros -RODA DE BICICLETA Trilha: Viagem rodoviária, ciclismo urbano (Nova Fortaleza, Mon Repos, Cidade Velha) Distância: 12-14 km Duração: 3-5 horas Notas: Visitas às fortalezas, locais arqueológicos e museus não estão incluídos. O almoço grego pode ser organizado mediante pedido e poderá ter lugar APÓS o passeio. Transporte de minivan para e de Corfu Town ou Porto pode ser organizado mediante pedido prévio, até 6 pessoas. Para distâncias acima de 10km da cidade de Corfu há um suplemento de 10-15euro para cobrir os custos de combustível

Nosso passeio começa nas proximidades da cidade de Nova Fortaleza de Corfu, que é uma fortaleza veneziana construída na colina de São Marcos em Corfu em etapas, no início do século XVI. Os edifícios atuais que existem dentro da fortaleza foram construídos pelos britânicos durante o seu domínio da ilha (1815-1863). As fortificações venezianas foram posteriormente ampliadas pelos britânicos e franceses para ajudar na defesa contra um possível ataque otomano.
Bela vista dos famosos marcos da capela de Corfu, Pontikonissi e Panagia Vlacherena, bem como para o pouso de aviões.
Mon Repos é uma antiga residência real de verão um pouco fora da cidade de Corfu. Situa-se ao sul da cidade de Corfu, na floresta e nos jardins botânicos de Paleópolis. Desde 2001, abriga a pequena exposição arqueológica de Paleópolis
Visite a Praça Spianada
O Palácio de São Miguel e São Jorge é um edifício histórico na cidade de Corfu. Encomendado por Sir Thomas Maitland, serviu originalmente como residência do Lorde Alto Comissário Britânico das Ilhas Jônicas. Foi construído entre 1819 e 1824, com desenho neoclássico. O prédio abriga o museu de Arte Asiática, diversas exposições temporárias de pintura grega e projetos estudantis de artes visuais.

We did a cycling tour of Corfu Town with Georgie and George, who are both really friendly and knowledgable. They took us to Kanoni and a lovely viewpoint over to Mouse Island and were happy to take photos of us. They recommended places to eat and places to visit. On bicycles we could cover a wider area and we stopped at a lovely café on the way. Their shop is in Dassia which was where we were staying, so they gave us a lift to the port in Corfu town where the tour started.
Georgia was a great guide and the logistics were well organized.. The tour covered the city and its history well. My family really enjoyed the experience.
Such a fantastic day with Georgia. She met us at the cruise port, and we started riding the city. We explored so much and had a stop for coffee. It was a great tour of Corfu and fun to explore by bicycle; we learned the history of the town as well.
Our family of 4 did a 3 hour riding tour with Georgia through the hill top villages above Dassia. George , her partner, kindly picked us up from our accommodation in Barbati and then dropped us in the Corfu Old Town afterwards. We booked 4 electric bikes which were brand new and easy to ride. Georgia also kindly provided snacks for us to enjoy once we arrived the small chapel at the top of the hill climb. We learnt a lot about the local Corfiot people and the history of the island. Georgia was the perfect guide and it was a great way to see the island with local knowledge.

Excellent tour of Corfu. We saw so much more than we would have by walking. Guide sent us excellent information on where to meet and was very punctual. Bikes were in good condition and information was excellent on Corfu.
We chose this tour by bike so we could cover a larger area of the town & get our bearings for exploring on our own. Georgia is an excellent host sending us very thorough instructions about where to meet her & providing cold water & a welcome coffee break. The cycling is very easy mostly on the flat. We stopped frequently & we were given lots of interesting historical information about the sights & also about present day life in Corfu. I would most definitely recommend this tour especially if you have not visited Corfu before.
Our Guide Georgia was very enthusiastic throughout the tour on bikes around Corfu town. Her knowledge about the history of the town was outstanding and we learned so much in a short time. The pick up and drop off from our hotel was on time and without stress. We would highly recommend this tour.
I love walking tours but they are tricky because the guide has to be able to tailor the tour to the target audience: the guide may drown you with facts or may just focus on the juicy stories. In this case we were a small group (3 people) and Georgia definitely gave us an interesting talk related to the history of the island and the old city without being too long-winded. The stop at the café also was quite refreshing and gave room to other discussions (e.g. what it means to live there after the tourist seasons). Also, thumbs up for the cold water bottle!
Great guided tour in Corfu historic center ! We did it walking because of the rain. I highly recommend Geo Tours ! Very puntual and profesional team ! I will keep excellent memory of this day ! Thanks !
