If you are visiting Biarritz, booking a walking food and wine tour with Julie is an absolute must! We spent the most wonderful afternoon with her, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. From the very moment we met Julie, her warmth, friendliness, and welcoming energy set the perfect tone for the day. She has a wonderful, engaging personality and incredible patience—especially with my husband’s questionable sense of humor! She rolled with every joke with a smile, making us feel completely at ease and like we were exploring the city with a close friend. Julie is deeply knowledgeable, and weaving the rich history and culture of Biarritz into the tour added so much depth to everything we saw and tasted. The food and wine pairings were exceptional, featuring amazing local Basque delicacies that were beautifully matched with wonderful wines. One of the best parts of the experience is the pace. It’s a very manageable, fairly easy walk between stops. Nothing feels rushed; you actually get to sit down, savor each dish and glass of wine, and relax. This unhurried setup provided ample opportunity to chat, ask Julie all of our questions about local life, and get her brilliant recommendations for the rest of our stay.

It was a very beautiful experience, Julie was a top-notch guide, we took the necessary time to discover the local and artisanal cuisine, and she was able to provide us with very interesting elements of the region's history.
