This was a great tour. First and foremost, Ella was an amazing tour guide. So much personality and energy. Our small group of 6 really clicked with her. From the pastries to start the tour to the smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz’s, everything was wonderful. Ella provided so much background and information. But best of all, the food was amazing. I particularly liked the fried salami and bologna sandwich at Wilensky’s and the chocolate babka. But everything was delicious! We highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed and will walk away full!
Juliet was a great guide through & through. Knowledgeable and thoughtful. Didn’t walk too fast, had everything needed, like napkins, etc. Amazing bagels, Babka, and more. Recommend this tour hands down!
A lot of walking, a lot of carbs; pace yourself. Poppy was a knowledgeable guide and very organized.
Well worth the price....the highlight of our trip to Montreal..AJ was a great guide, very knowledgable about the food, the spots and the Jewish history
What a fantastic tour! AJ was an amazing tour guide, and their passion for the Jewish community and Jewish food was infectious. Great tour!!!
Our wonderful tour guide, AJ, did a fantastic job of blending broad historical information with specifics on the businesses and practices of the Jewish community in Montreal over time—and the food was yummy. Thank you so much!
We had a great afternoon walking and eating with our fantastic guide Bella! She gave us a lot of interesting history about the places that we visited and the food was delicious! It was a hot day so we were worn out by the end but very glad to have picked this tour.
Food choices were good. There was an extensive amount of walking. There was no indoor seating at the food stops. Some stops had no outdoor seating. Water with food items would have made for a better experience.
Amazing tour! Highly recommend! Ella was an outstanding tour guide, very knowledgeable about the history and food. We went to the two famous bagel shops (St Viatore and Fairmount), Schwartz’s Deli, and had the most amazing chocolate babka at Hof Kelsten)! In total we made seven food stops so you will not go hungry. My wife and I shared one item from each place and saved the other to enjoy later. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!
The tour was wonderful. We tried all types of food and Ella was a great tour guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable.
