Começaremos nosso passeio com um passeio pelas muralhas da Cidade Velha de Rodes - a maior cidade medieval habitada da Europa. Foi construído em 1300 pelos cavaleiros da ordem de São João. A cidade medieval de Rodes está inscrita na Lista de Patrimônios Mundiais da UNESCO. Se você quiser, podemos estender a duração do passeio em 1 hora e você também pode ter algum tempo livre para percorrer a cidade velha e explorá-la por conta própria.
O porto de Mandraki está situado na parte nova da cidade, onde você verá alguns edifícios monumentais muito impressionantes construídos pelos italianos. Aqui na entrada do porto acredita-se que uma vez ficou a grande estátua do Colosso de Rodes - uma das sete maravilhas do mundo antigo. Vamos parar para fotos da área.
A Igreja da Anunciação em Rodes é a maior igreja ortodoxa da cidade, com pinturas artesanais muito bonitas nas paredes e lustres espetaculares.
Quando chegarmos a Monthe Smith Hill, você desfrutará de excepcionais vistas panorâmicas da cidade e do litoral, e também visitará as ruínas do Templo de Apolo, o impressionante estádio antigo ao ar livre e o Anfiteatro.
Pouco antes de chegarmos à bonita aldeia tradicional de Lindos, o seu motorista irá parar-te num local para uma fantástica vista panorâmica da aldeia, juntamente com a sua Acrópole no topo. Depois disso, vamos deixar você na entrada principal da vila. Você terá pelo menos 1 hora e meia para explorá-lo e, claro, visitar sua famosa Acrópole. O motorista irá esperar por você no lugar exato em que ele o deixou.
A Acrópole de Lindos é a segunda Acrópole mais popular da Grécia, depois do Partenon, em Atenas. Foi construído em uma rocha íngreme de 116 metros de altura com vista para o Mar Azul e para a vila de Lindos abaixo. A Acrópole é dominada pelo maciço templo de Athena Lindia, que data do século IV e atingiu sua forma final por volta de 300 aC.

We had a wonderful day on Rhodes island. We were picked up at the cruise port in a very comfortable vehicle. Our guide, Aga, was very informative and provided us with lots of information on the history of the island and current life on the island. We started from the cruise port and made a photo stop at Rhodes old town. After several stops at different viewpoints we visited the Rhodes acropolis and then drove to Lindos. We stopped for refreshments and took lively photos of Lindos and the Lindos acropolis. The visit to Savvas pottery was also very informative and pleasant. The return trip to Rhodes along the coast was very interesting. We could see all the developments and tourist places. Our guide knew where to take us to miss the crowds. The tour ended in Rhodes old town where we had free time. We left the island feeling that we made the best of a one day visit. All thanks to our informative guide.

We had an absolutely fabulous private driving tour of Rhodes yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Nikolas, is a lifelong local — born and raised on Rhodes — and it showed. His knowledge of the island was incredible, and he had endless stories and information to share about the history, culture, and hidden corners of the island. We accidentally went to the wrong meeting point at the start, but Ellie was super responsive and helpful, and Nikolas came to pick us up within five minutes of us reaching out. It set the tone for a day where nothing was a problem. Since we were staying a bit further out, we adjusted the itinerary slightly to fit in a few extra sights, and Nikolas was completely flexible about it. The real highlight was when he ended up driving us through his own village — completely off the planned itinerary — because we kept asking questions about it. We got to see some incredible UNESCO sites tucked away there that we never would have found on our own. This was such a personal, authentic experience rather than a typical tour. Nikolas clearly loves sharing his island with visitors, and it made all the difference. We’d do this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this company to absolutely anyone visiting Rhodes.

Nikolas was a phenomenal guide!! Can’t say enough great things about the day… We accidentally met at the wrong meeting point & Ellie kindly coordinated with Nikolas to pick us up at the alternative location within 5 minutes. We had a fabulous day exploring the best of Rhodes. It was even better that we personalized the tour a bit as we were staying in Lindos so rather than including it on our tour, we added a few additional spots such as butterfly valley - amazing suggestions from Ellie and wonderfully executed by Nickolas. This tour more than met our expectations. Our tour guide, Mr. Aga was excellent. The tour took us from the city of Rhodes through the town of Old of Rhodes to Lindos and back to our cruise ship. Mr. Aga’s knowledge of the whole area was impressive. He also knew the cultural history, historical history and the sites to take us to. We saw the exact point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Aegean from a high hill at the top of Rhodes. It was an incredible site to see. I am mobility impaired, and Mr. Aga took this into consideration at every every site we stopped at. He was very aware of this and made accommodations for me. He stopped for lunch at a place that was not a tourist area. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. We would highly recommend this tour as there is no way we could’ve seen all the things we were able to see on our own in the time allotted by our cruise stop.
