We had an absolutely fantastic time with Elijah during our city and rum tasting tour. Elijah gave a great tour with perspective and knowledge. It was fun and easy. Elijah was ready to answer questions and shared experiences. The tour was so great that I called and requested him for another tour the next day to the museums. Elijah made me a true "Belizer". 😄. We'll be back!
It was a nice introduction to Belize City. To get familiar with the area, I was staying in. Josh was my tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about the town. Went to eat afterwards and had a nice 🍷 drink nearby.
Hands down one of our favorite days on our trip and our favorite excursion. We met with Tanya and she led our tour even though it was Belize's Labor Day Holiday so not a lot of things were open. But we still had a great time, she drove us through Belize City, northside and southside of town and explained the history and the current day lives of Belizeans and their amazing warm culture. I loved the drinks we got, and the Panty Rippa became my favorite drink while there. Tanya is a great guide and an amazing woman who deserves her 10s as a woman in a male dominated industry. She made Belize feel like home and now we are honorary cousins from Boston! Tanya has the vibes and you'll love this tour.
Tanya was a great guide. She gave us a mini-history lesson about Belize and took us to a few places. We enjoyed our night out on the town.
This is in the top 3 organized excursions I have ever done. We arrived a bit early. We were greeted with frozen drinks in super cool Tuk Tuk Belize drink bags. Drinks were tasty and bag is a great collectible! Kaylynn checked with our tour Elijah and he as available. He gave us a tour and Belize history lesson while waiting for the bars to open. The spots he choose had great drink options and the wings, nachos and mozzarella sticks were amazing. The Tuk Tuk was a very nice ride and great way to see Belize City and try some of the local fare! Elijah was incredible! Would highly recommend!!
The night cocktail Tuk Tuk was fun. We got picked up at our hotel. The tuktuk was nice and Tanya was even nicer. She was very pleasant and fun. Although much wasn't happening in the bars (because it was Wednesday), the locals and staff were very nice. We also got some history, suggestions on places to visit and ended the night singing karaoke.
What an amazing day! Elijah was an outstanding guide and made sure we had an incredible time from start to finish. We enjoyed it so much that we extended the trip by a couple of hours. Don’t hesitate for a second to book this excursion. The location is absolutely beautiful, and experiencing it in such a unique and personalized way made it even more special. Thank you!
The excursion was not what it was advertised for we did not do nothing dealing with a bar we just rode around basically
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We always sincerely appreciate and acknowledge when our valued guests share their experiences. However, we have photos that will prove that you were taken to many locations. Transparency is one of our business core values. To address, clarify, and accurately respond to a report that was submitted, the tour did operate as scheduled. Two of the three tricycles arrived on time at the designated meeting point. The third tricycle experienced a brief delay of approximately 15 minutes, not one hour, due to an unanticipated road closure implemented by Belize authorities on a major city route. During this period, the guests were not unattended. Our guides arrived on time, met the group at the park, and distributed the complimentary cocktails and introduced themselves while awaiting the arrival of the third tricycle. We have supporting photos to confirm such activities. Despite the minor delay, the tour proceeded for its full duration of 2.5 hours. The guests were not shorted any tour time. Regarding the stops, it is important to note that under Belize law, all bars are required to have a food-service area. This is important to mention because the guests were confused as to why the bars had food-service areas. Our guides kindly explain the reasons for this to the guests. The first stop was not a liquor store, but rather a historic Belize City rum factory that operates a bar on-site with rum tasting sessions. This gives the guests an opportunity to purchase their favorite local Belizean rum if they really liked any. The second scheduled stop was a rooftop bar; however, the guests elected not to remain at this location and instead requested to be taken to purchase local fried chicken, as well as a gift shop to purchase souvenirs. While this request was outside the scope of the tour itinerary, our guides accommodated it in good faith to enhance the guest experience. In addition to the bar stops, the guests received a fully guided city tour, covering Belize City in its entirety. A final stop was made at our third partner bar, after which the guests were transported back to the cruise terminal. In summary, the guests received all components outlined in the tour description: • A 2.5-hour guided experience • The complimentary cocktail • Three partner bar stops (with the second stop shortened by guest choice) • An additional off-itinerary accommodation made at the guests’ request Based on the above, the assertion that the group “did nothing dealing with a bar” or that the tour failed to operate as advertised is incorrect. All advertised services were delivered as described. As a small, local, and eco-friendly business, we genuinely care about guest experience and kindly acknowledge the traveler’s perspective; we understand that delivering an exceptional tour goes beyond our unique solar-operated tuk-tuks, and we continually strive to meet and exceed guest expectations. Josh was amazing but don’t do the tour on Sunday. The city was settled and getting ready for the week. Mostly everything was closed. However I would recommend on any other day
Tuktuk Belize was a vibe. Their pedal lounge was just what I needed to celebrate my birthday. The Staff was full of energy, sociable, entertaining and professional. I am so happy that I booked with them and highly recommend them for the night cocktail tour.
