My family of 6 and I went on a private tour with Levi for two separate tours on two separate days: Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, and the Annunciation Church + Capernaum + Jordan tour. I can honestly say that he is one of the best guides I’ve ever had spanning our travels to over thirty different countries with many different guides. And he is also one of the most interesting people you will ever meet with a fascinating backstory. All that aside, Levi ensured everything was smooth each day. He picked us up at the front of our AirBnb each morning so all we had to do was show up. The man has an encyclopedic knowledge of Israeli and biblical history. Even though we spent several hours in the car with him the time flew by as he either was pointing out various landmarks and sights as we passed them. Or just tell us stories from his fascinating life. He was very patient with our questions and also patient when our kids were fooling around. If you want the best private guide in Israel, Levi is your man. One thing I also want to mention. At the time of this review, end of Feb, the sites were virtually empty. After viewing some YouTube videos I was expecting hordes of people but quite the opposite. At no time did I feel unsafe or in danger. All this to say, now is a great time to visit Israel.
Dear Albert and the family, Many thanks for your fascinating review. It has been a great pleasure to spend two days with your great family. I've enjoyed every moment and am really happy that you feel the same. Hope to see you again and to be able to show you much more of our most beautiful country.
Levi is the most knowledgeable and hard working tour guide we have ever had, and so respectful and honest in sharing his perspectives. He came highly recommended by a good friends and I will in turn recommend him to others.
Thanks a lot. I just do my best. It has been my greatest pleasure to guide you and to converse with you. Hope to see you again!
5 stars isn’t enough … Levi was an amazing guide! We joked he was the King of Israel as he knew everyone! Great knowledge and history on all things. Highly recommend if you only have so little time and want to maximize sight seeing.
Dear Alissa I would only wish that you'd have more time to enjoy Israel. But I'm happy that in this short time we've manage to see so much. This was the maximum I could do for you during you Honeymoon, and I'm so happy that you've like it so much. Hope to see you again and to be able showing you much more!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful day with Levi. He is so friendly and knowledgeable and has all the connections to make your tour experience perfect. I would highly recommend and will absolutely be booking again on our next trip to Israel.
Dear Connor, thanks a lot for your review and for a highly enjoyable day together. Hope to see you both again!
Levi was an incredible tour guide who made us feel very welcome. He was tremendously knowledgeable and helped us create an itinerary to fill our needs and memories to last a lifetime! Would highly recommend.
Dear Amanda and Elizabeth, thanks a lot for your review and also thanks for your great company. You have definitely been among the best guests I've met. Hope to see you again!
I definitely recommend this tour. You will get the best experience and will enjoy what you paid for.
Dear Sir Many thanks! It has been my honor to guide you.
Expensive for what you get. Also, when asked, the Palestinian guide stated he did not get any of the money from the tour company so we tipped him a lot extra. Not sure if that is true but if it is that is not right. Also going to Bethlehem on Christmas Eve morning was a terrible idea given the enormous crowds and traffic. I feel the tour company should have known that and advised accordingly. On the upside the Palestinian driver and guide worked very hard. Also main driver/guide was very accommodating in terms of timing an altering trip due to time constraints and our wishes.
Regret your feelings. Still just to remind you that this should have been a regular private tour of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and the Dead Sea, which you've booked on the Viator site and not with us directly. For whatever reason, you've decided to skip Jerusalem, which is the most interesting part of the tour. We also were not supposed to "warn you" that Bethlehem, Jesus' birthplace, would be tremendously crowded during Christmas. It comes without saying. We always do our best, anyway.
Wassim was great! He was very knowledgeable and kind. He went above and beyond for me and my family. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Thanks a lot for your great review. Indeed, we almost do our utmost to ensure the best experience for our dear guests!
We had a fantastic day, Levi knew so much about the country it was fascinating. We never felt rushed but managed to fit so much in. He always managed to find the quietareas so we really had the best experience.
Dear Helen Thanks you so much! It was my pleasure and honor to guiding you. Hope to see you again!
Overall was a great tour, we had a great overview of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in 1 day. Our guide was very knowledgeable. He had an answer to all of our questions. He was flexible we the tour itinerary, as we wanted to add an extra stop to the Western Wall, for an extra payment. Levi was very friendly and courteous. Some improvements to the tour will be: - To drive a little bit slower or ask the passengers if they are comfortable with the speed, as we are a little bit nervous with high speeds. - Lunch should be included in the price or it should be flexible, as we wanted to have free time instead of having lunch.
Thanks for your review. I'm happy that you've liked the tour and my guiding. I'm proud having, for the first time, guests from a very distant Ecuador! As for your notices - I see my utmost responsibility to fulfil my guests' wishes and making my tours highly pleasant. But this I can only fulfil if my guests communicate with me and express themselves during the tour. As an example, lunch is not part of tour program, as it is clearly stated both on site and tour leaflet. I always ask in advance if guests want to have it on their own. I asked you as well, and you requested to have a lunch. If you prefered to have "a free time" instead (which is highly unusual), you should just tell. To summarize, the crucial key for tours being successful, is a communication between the guest and the guide. We always are eager to listen and fulfil. But, please, talk to your guide!!!
