We had a fabulous time with Carlos. What a fantastic guide. Friendly, happy and full of knowledge. He took the time to get great pictures for us, and told us all the fun spots. Thank you! Tacos were great and very flavourful. The tequila tasting was great, ended up having 5 shots! A good trip that is very recommended
Guide was Carlos, very professional, extremely pleased with the tour, would highly recommend
The tour guide Karina was amazing. She was attentive and patient and friendly. The tequila stop was my favorite part! Frances was informative yet funny and personable. The tour overall was nice. Lots of shops, and the owners were not too pushy.

It was an okay experience. The first stop was the best (referred to as Mama’s House). Once we left there, we went back to the tour meet up spot and did the tequila tasting. The person who was in charge of that was AMAZING! He did a great job! Once we left with our tour guide to go to the second stop is when things went left for me. They take you through all these shops and of course people want to buy souvenirs, which is fine but I didn’t like the way they were rallying us up and closing us up in these shops where people then told us sad life stories. I’m assuming it’s a ploy to get you to spend more, but it’s just unnecessary and felt like a time filler to make the tour last longer. When we finally got to the second stop the entire group was exhausted and sweating profusely. There were a few guys sitting at another table and they got up and set up their xylophone and started playing. They played one song then came over to ask us for a tip for them playing. Like huh? No one asked you to play anything. You just started playing and expected us to tip you?? There were no drinks at any restaurant unless you wanted to pay for it, even if you just wanted water. The food at the second stop was just okay. The chicken was very dry but I don’t eat pork so that’s all I could try. We then head to the third and final stop and the tacos there we’re DISGUSTING. It’s like a beer battered chicken (the batter wasn’t even staying on the tacos) and they pile cabbage on top of the tacos. We only ate a couple bites. Had to slather it in the white sauce just to make it taste like something. You had the option to get fish, but my husband is allergic so we couldn’t have that. Our lady tour guide was okay. The only thing I didn’t like was at the end of the tour she asked for a tip like we didn’t just pay $80 for the tour. It’s one thing to ask like hey if you’d like to leave a tip you can but it’s not required. I had no intentions of leaving a tip, but after she asked a third time I just said fine because I was tired of being asked and wanted the day to just be over with. We were told transportation would be back to get us at 1:50p-2:00p. We didn’t get picked up until about 2:15 which wasn’t too bad but again, it was about 96 degrees outside. The ride is a very bumpy one so if you get motion sickness, you may want to take something prior to getting in the vans. Honestly the best part of the trip was the family that was with us during the tour. It was their first time in Mexico and wanted to bring their son on vacation for finishing school. We had some great conversations and they really were nice. We did learn about Puerto Morelos and get to see some stingrays and fish when we were on the pier, and some historic sites so that was nice.
