We had a great experience! The service was friendly and professional. The Food!!!! You’llllll! Great! Best tasting food! Nina was a wonderful hoist.
The food was excellent! The tortillas were the best I’ve had in my life! Nina was a most gracious hostess!
Solicitors were constantly in our face hard to relax Service and food were excellent, which was not very nice. 2 feet deep.

Booked a beach experience. Not at all. This was a run down motel amongst many rundown motels. It had literally 10 feet of “beach” which consisted of sand bags stacked around a small access to water. Staff was friendly but not well organized. Food wad not good and prepared in a microwave. Cost me several hundred dollars for what would have cost 100 dollars at the place. Very disappointing for what was advertised. There were peoe every 5 minutes teying to sell you something and harrassing us for money. Wr stayed about an hour and then left. Very disappointed.
We stopped here on a Royal Caribbean Cruise with friends. We booked an excursion at Beach Break for around $100/person. That price only includes drinks (terrible)- no food. We had a 10am departure from the port and didn't get to board the bus to the beach until 11am. Very unorganized. After a 10 minute, hot walk to the bus, we had about a 20 minute bus ride through town to the "beach". It was stinky- sulfur/sewage smell, impossible to walk to without getting harrassed by vendors, and the beach was a joke- stank, very little actual beach, and constantly approached by people trying to sell crap. If this is a stop on your itinerary, skip it and enjoy a less full ship.

We regret that your experience was not what you expected, but we would like to point out that, according to the details you provided in your review, we do not offer any type of package with transportation, and all our packages include food and beverages. On the other hand, the issue of sargassum is a problem that affects the entire coast of Quintana Roo and is very difficult to control, as are street vendors. We hope that on your next visit we can change this experience.
Too expensive for what you get. Drinks were mediocre and the beach was not much. Water swings were only for pictures.
We visited Pez Quadro for a beach day while on a Virgin Voyages cruise in July 2025. I chose it because the reviews looked promising, and it was only about a 15-minute cab ride from the cruise port. We had a very nice time. They have beach beds and plenty of shade. The water was very clean and free of seaweed due to the net system they have set up. The food was good, and the drinks were plentiful. Our servers Bonito and Ernesto were absolutely amazing! They were very friendly, extremely efficient and professional, making sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough positive things about them. There were a lot of vendors. Just say no thank you or ignore them and you'll be just fine. I would highly recommend enjoying a nice relaxing beach day at Pez Quadro!

Nice clean area and plenty of shade. The food could be better. Good selection of sodas. Clean beach area.
This has become one of our favorite stops in Costa Maya! We love this place and from the moment you arrive it’s amazing. Thank you to Ernesto and Benito for the amazing service! From the food to the drinks it’s all worth the price. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot look no further. The beach is excellent and my girls loved it. Again I can’t say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself!
We enjoyed our lunch and the smoothies that came with the drinks package. The service was good and it was overall a pleasant experience. The price seemed a bit high for what it was and they did not provide towels. It was relaxing but I’d probably try another spot upon return to Costa Maya.
