A caminhada Base las Torres começa ziguezagueando pelo Vale Asencio (cerca de 90 minutos). Nossos esforços serão recompensados com uma vista imaculada do Lago Nordenjköld. Depois caminharemos sob as antigas geleiras de uma montanha coberta de neve, o Monte Almirante Nieto, atingindo uma altura de 2.670 m acima do nível do mar. O guia fará questão de fazer pausas. O caminho eventualmente desce, mas pode subir e descer até 60 metros porque serpenteia ao redor da montanha junto com o rio caudaloso abaixo. Depois de algumas horas de caminhada desfrutaremos de um merecido descanso no refúgio chileno. Recomenda-se comprar o ingresso do Parque Torres del Paine antes de sair para o passeio.

Amazing and beautiful view. We took 10 hours to hike it because we need to be back for the shuttle out of the park at 7 pm. It was a bit rushed. We are a fit couple, we weightlift and do sports, but we are not hikers. I notice that the hike gets labeled as "easy" and "simple" a lot, especially the first 2/3. Unless you are a professional/frequent hiker, it is NOT easy and you need to be aware of this.
Avoid This Company at All Costs – Unreliable and Unresponsive We booked a once-in-a-lifetime hike to the base of Torres del Paine, which this company confirmed and promised to coordinate. At the last minute—without any explanation or notice—they cancelled our tour. We were left stranded with no time or opportunity to rebook with another provider. To make matters worse, we watched other guests at our hotel get picked up for the same hike by their respective tour companies and return raving about their experience. Meanwhile, we spent the day trying (and failing) to get answers from a company that ghosted us entirely. No calls answered. No emails returned. No texts acknowledged. They’ve offered no apology and no accountability. This was the centerpiece of our Patagonia trip—an experience we carefully planned and looked forward to for months. Their complete lack of professionalism and basic decency cost us an unforgettable adventure. Do not trust this company with your travel plans. There are many other reliable operators in the area—this is not one of them.
Good morning, to be clear, due to weather conditions, the tour couldn't be run. You were notified in advance, and your money is being refunded by Viator. Why are you leaving a bad review trying to discredit us if you were notified in advance through the same platform? Don't be a mean person, because the safety and integrity of each person comes first. (Your companion already commented on the same thing earlier.)
Both the guide and the driver extremely friendly and attentive! Wonderful tour, amazing scenery! It was worth every minute!
Breathtaking views. Challenging hike. You need to wear good hiking shoes and layer your clothing, so you can take some of it off. A must do experience! This is from a 59 year old female.
