Operator has a completely opaque meet up system. A couple minutes late and you’re cooked (if you can find it). Lines and ticket avails not bad a day in advance, better to DIY than risk this confusing voucher system

Extremely disappointed by this experience, we wish to share our dissatisfaction regarding a service that was absolutely not provided in accordance with our reservation. We had booked and paid €88 for a service including a guided tour of St. Mark's Basilica with a French-speaking guide as well as access to the terrace. Unfortunately, none of the essential elements of the service were respected. First of all, the guide, Antonio, arrived 15 minutes late at the meeting point, namely the Tour Shop located in front of San Zaccaria Church. He then gave us two tickets corresponding to a visit to the basilica and the museum, whereas our reservation clearly provided for the basilica and access to the terrace. Furthermore, the tour was supposed to be conducted in French, but the guide only communicated in English because the group consisted only of Americans. The guided tour itself only lasted about 20 minutes, before the guide left us alone on site, without accompanying us for the rest of the service. We explained to him again that our reservation included access to the terrace and not to the museum. When we asked him how to access the terrace, he indicated to us that it was not part of his group and that we had to contact the agency directly. He simply asked us to go to the entry point ourselves in order to try to access the museum and/or the terrace, and to return to the agency in case of a problem. We unfortunately encountered incomprehensible rigidity from the staff of St. Mark's Basilica, who refused to let us enter without a guide. We therefore found ourselves unable to enjoy the service that we had nevertheless reserved and paid €88 for. This experience was particularly disappointing for several reasons: the guide's delay; tickets that did not correspond to our reservation; the lack of a tour in French; an extremely short guided tour, of about 20 minutes; the lack of accompaniment for the rest of the service; the inability to access the terrace which was nevertheless included in our reservation; and above all, the fact of having been left alone to face the problem, even though we had paid for an accompanied service. We therefore returned to the agency in order to obtain explanations and requested a refund for the service, which was clearly not provided in accordance with our reservation. To our great disappointment, no satisfactory solution was proposed to us and no possibility of redoing the tour was offered to us.

Good tour, not great. It’s an important part Of Venetian history though. I’m glad we went , but our tour guide seemed to run out of things to share.

Crowded in Basilica but tours get priority access and navigate the crowds so you can understand what your seeing

Guide was very informative, would recommend this service if you want to visit St. Marks.

Stunning basilica very ornately decorated and another must see. It was incredibly busy at 11am and too many people rather spoilt our views. Recommend including terrace visit to see the bronze horses and the views over the lagoon and square. Consider going later in day to avoid crowds

I arrived a few minutes and the group had gone.couldn’t find them and no one would help me. I only had a voucher so NO ticket to go in by myself. Paid but got nothing

Nice 1 hour tour of St. Mark's Basilica. Good for children. Tour does not include Terrace so do not exit with tour if you wish to do this on your own. Unfortunately the guides speaker was not working but group was small enough to be able to hear her without it.

Silvana was a wonderful tour guide. So knowledgeable on the history of St Mark’s Basillica and happily answered all our questions.

The guide was very polite but very hard to understand his english. He had a very strong accent. Also there were kids in the group and did not seem to adjust the narrative so they can also be interested. For example he kept talking about the doje but never explained to them who that was.
