Esta atividade oferece passeios guiados focados no exterior e detalhes arquitetônicos da fachada da Sagrada Família de Antoni Gaudí em Barcelona. A Sagrada Família está em construção desde 1882 e é um dos maiores projetos arquitetônicos em curso na Europa. A basílica apresenta duas fachadas monumentais completas, a fachada da Natividade, que Gaudí supervisionou diretamente, e a fachada da paixão, completada após sua morte com esculturas de Josep Maria Subirachs. Uma terceira fachada, a fachada da glória, está atualmente planejada. Seu Guia explicará os detalhes arquitetônicos, o simbolismo religioso e a história da construção visível do exterior da basílica. A Sagrada Família está localizada no bairro Eixample de Barcelona, um bairro projetado no século XIX pelo urbanista Ildefons Cerda. A área é conhecida por seu layout de grade com blocos octogonais distintivos e sua concentração de edifícios modernistas catalães.

Os hóspedes encontram sua Guia em frente ao KFC na Avinguda de Gaudi e começam com uma leitura da fachada da Natividade, a única fachada supervisionada diretamente por Gaudí, onde esculturas de pedra retratam cenas da vida de Cristo ao lado de plantas, animais e insetos tirados da natureza. A visita prossegue até a fachada da Paixão, esculpida por Josep Maria Subirachs após a morte de Gaudí, onde o Guia descodifica a narrativa simbólica da crucificação e uma praça mágica matemática escondida na pedra. Ao longo do passeio, os viajantes ganham contexto sobre o design da grade do século 19 do distrito de Eixample e seu lugar na história do modernismo catalão. I felt deceived with the Plan must be clear that the tour is NOT INSIDE THE BASILICA. All of us felt frustrated; it was a short tour and outside the basilica. NOTHING TO SEE

Deceptive ad for EXTERIOR ONLY of the Sagrada Familia. Ad and emails were NOT made clear until it was too late to book tickets for inside the cathedral AND too late to cancel this tour. If it was made clear at the time of booking we would have had time to book actual tickets to tour the Sagrada Família.

Our guide was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any question. She provided fascinating insights into the history and architecture of the Sagrada Família and current/future building works, as well as the life of Gaudi. She also shared suggestions of where to eat and other attractions to see nearby. The experience was great but a little short; while the tour was advertised to run an hour it only went for 45 minutes.

Great exterior tour. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable. This is a great alternative if you can’t get tickets for the full tour.
