Ban Gioc Waterfall 2 dias 1 noite de Hanói

One thing I appreciated about this tour was the opportunity to see different aspects of northern Vietnam within two days. Of course, Ban Gioc Waterfall was the main attraction, but the surrounding countryside and the additional stops helped make the trip fell more complete. I particularly enjoyed the contrast between the dramatic natural scenery and the quieter moments along the way. Traveling through rural areas gave me a different perspective on Vietnam, away from the busy streets and constant activity of Hanoi. The schedule involves quite a lot of travel, so it may not be ideal for someone who prefers a slow, relaxed holiday with very little time in a vehicle. However, if you enjoy exploring and want to make the most of a short trip, I think the variety makes it worthwhile. Overall, it is the combination of scenery, travel, and the chance to discover somewhere less familiar that makes this experience memorable.

I knew Ban Gioc Waterfall would be beautiful, but seeing it in person was a completely different experience compared to just looking at photos online. Surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, the site feels both peaceful and truly atriking . The Journey from Hanoi is quite along , so be prepared for a trip that lasts several hours.For me , the journey itself was part of the fun , as I could watch the landscape gradually shift while traveling deeper into the countryside. I really appreciated that the trip included other stops, rather than focusing solely on one destination. If you are traveling in Vietnam and have a few days to explore the North, this is an experience well worth considering. I’ve come away with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty of this region .

This was THE highlight of our trip. We specifically came to Vietnam to see this waterfall and we were not disappointed. The trip is very long round trip, but it was so seamless and fun. If you can request a tour guide, ask for Dat! Dat truly made the trip enjoyable. He has great energy and is very informative. He never got upset if we asked too many questions and he gave us plenty of time to enjoy each activity so we could get photos and videos. He made us feel comfortable and also made us laugh a lot! Booking with this company was the biggest mistake of our trip to Vietnam. They charge premium prices for what is essentially a poorly organized transfer service where you spend far more time sitting around waiting for their electric car to charge than actually seeing any sights. The accommodation was shockingly dirty and neglected, basic dietary needs were completely ignored, and they repeatedly tried to charge extra fees for things that were supposed to be included. When we complained about not getting the itinerary we paid for, management brushed us off and took zero accountability. Save yourself the headache - skip this tour completely and explore the beautiful North independently or through a reliable local agency!

What I enjoyed most about this trip was that ít felt like much more than simply visititing a waterfall. The journey from Hanoi gave me the chance to see a different side of Vietnam, with beautiful mountain scenery, quiet rural areas, and landscapes that seemed to change around every corner. Ban Gioc Waterfall was definitely the highlight. Seeing the water flowing through such a dramatic natural setting was a special moment, and I found myself wanting to slow down and take everything in rather than just take photos. The other stops along the way also added variety to the experience. Two days is quite short for such along journey, but the trip gave me a wonderful introduction to northern Vietnam. I would recommend it to travelers who enjoy nature, scenic drives, and discovering places beyond the usual tourist destination

Do not book this tour. It is an overpriced tourist trap designed to exploit travelers coming from Hanoi who don't know standard local prices. We spent most of our 2 day tour sitting in a car because the driver constantly had to stop and charge the electric vehicle. We barely got 3.5 hours of sightseeing on the first day, and by 10:00 AM on the second day, we were already being driven back to Hanoi! On top of that, they tried to charge us extra for water and entrance fees that were supposed to be included. The hotel was filthy, rusted, and full of dead bugs. Despite informing them in advance that we are vegetarian, breakfast was at a local meat stall, and their only solution was serving us tea - we had to buy our own food at a supermarket. When we contacted the company, they refused to take responsibility and ignored audio proof that our itinerary was cut short. Save your money and time. Book independent transport, explore by motorbike, or do the Cao Bang loops instead. Terrible experience.

This is a scam! Stay away! This was supposed to be a two-day tour, but the experience was completely different from what was promised. The tour was entirely private, with no other tourists in the group. We were promised two full days covering all the attractions, including entrance fees to all sites, meals, and accommodation. In reality, the entire tour lasted approximately five hours in total. We were picked up in Hanoi at 6:00 AM. According to the agreed itinerary, we were supposed to arrive at 12:00 PM, but we actually arrived at 3:00 PM. We spent just one hour at the waterfall, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and then visited the cave from 4:45 PM to 6:30 PM. This was nowhere near what had been agreed upon. On top of that, we had to pay extra for a boat at the waterfall, which was not included as expected, and no one could explain why we had to pay an additional fee. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given absolutely disgraceful rooms! There were insects on the walls, rubbish in the room, and dirty bedsheets. The following morning, breakfast was served at a street stall full of flies. We had explicitly informed the company that we were vegetarians, yet the stall served meat. We had to spend our own money to buy food so we wouldn’t go hungry because the guide couldn’t find any suitable alternative. We left for Ban Gioc in the morning at 8:00 AM and left at 10:00 AM. And that was after we didn’t even arrive there until 9:00 AM! This was an absolute waste of our time and money. With the amount of money we paid, we could have easily organized the trip ourselves, enjoyed the area at our own pace, and even stayed for three days. The entire experience was characterized by disrespect, poor organization, and extreme stinginess. Do yourself a favor and save your valuable time and money. Stay away from this tour!
