We were a bit unsure at first, but this turned out to be an amazing experience. Everything was easy and well organized from the moment we arrived in Costa Maya. Bacalar was the highlight, the water is beautiful and the whole atmosphere was just relaxing and fun. It didn’t feel rushed or overcrowded, which made a big difference for us. We also really appreciated how smooth everything was getting back to the ship on time. No stress at all. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend.

Everything was easy from the start, we found our guide without any issues and the whole process felt very smooth. Bacalar was incredible, the water really does have those different shades of blue everyone talks about. We had time to relax, enjoy some drinks and just take it all in without feeling rushed. It felt more like a personal experience than a typical tour. They were also very organized with the timing, which gave us peace of mind since we needed to get back to the ship on time. Overall, everything felt safe, well planned and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something a bit more relaxed and unique.

This Bacalar Boat Adventure was one of the highlights of our trip. The lagoon is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and incredible shades of blue that look unreal in person. Every stop along the way felt special and gave us time to swim, relax, and enjoy the scenery. The experience was very well organized, and the team on board was friendly and attentive at all times. The drinks and fresh fruit were a great touch, making everything feel even more premium and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-managed experience, this is definitely the one. I would do it again without hesitation.
I believe this vendor is fraudulent. We purchased through TripAdvisor/Viator, followed all instructions and they were not there to pick us up. Their phone number does not work. We reached out for help within the pickup window & they were not responsive.
SCAM!!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! Showed up & no one onsite. None of the other tour operators knew who these people were. HUGE red flag! We met 2 other groups of people who were also scammed. We called the operator & no one answered. Viator was no help. They gave no directions of any sort. They never text or emailed any directions. We were on time. Another group was 30 minutes early. And none if us ever found our guide. We will be disputing charges.
We came from a cruise ship in Costa Maya (Mahahual). We met our driver outside the cruise port, it was a nice taxi. The ride is about an hour and 15 minutes to the town of Bacalar. The boarding area shack has small bathrooms where you can change if needed. The boat is a nice clean pontoon. Our Captain Antonio gave some information about the lagoon and the cenotes along the way. We had 2 swim stops in the beautiful fresh clear water. No snorkel necessary, nothing to see. Antonio brought lunch for us, delicious tacos! A great time on the water!
