BA: Aula de Culinária Premium Empanadas em Palermo

Pretty underwhelming experience. The guide or chef was very unengaged — he kept disappearing into another room, presumably to cook or prep, without telling us what he was doing so we could follow along. He never mentioned how long to cook the empanadas or how to tell when it was done, they just appeared infront of us. We finished a half hour early. At the end, it was unclear we had reached the end because the guide didn’t say anything to us, he just didn’t come out of the little room he kept disappearing to, so the group was just sitting around. Probably should have just watched a YouTube video, we would have learned more.

Unique and incredible experience with chef Hernan. That was very attentive, friendly and incredibly detailed and concerned with the smallest details throughout the course. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

It was a very entertaining and didactic experience and the guide was really easy going. I totally recommend it either you go with friends, family or alone.

Carolina was a great chef. She was very friendly and made everything very easy. Vegetarian and beef empanadas were delicious.

My son and I had a wonderful time. Katarina made the process so easy and understandable. I had never thought about trying to make empanadas myself. Now I can’t wait to try making them. In addition she gave us a wealth of information about Argentina, its culture, and places to visit in Buenos Aires. The wine pairings were wonderful too!

Catalina was so informative and welcoming! We really enjoyed learning how to cook with her and the experience was so relaxing and fun. We would 100% recommend to a friend. Communication with the host was easy too via what’s app and they contact you a few days before your tour. Highly recommend this experience and ask for Catalina!

Next to no hands-on when making the empanadas. You chop 1 onion and watch the host season. You do get to fold the empanadas, but the company even uses premade pastry from the grocery store.

Very friendly staff. The location was inviting, clean, and added to the experience. The recipe we learned is wonderful. We have recreated them now several times. Highly recommend to couples or small groups. Great conversation. Extremely friendly. It is obviously that they sincerely enjoy sharing their culture.
