Our family of 12- ages 18-73 ALL loved the day and made memories to literally last a lifetime. Our guides, Damien, Mambo and Ismael were totally fun and made safety a first priority but fun was a second close place. They made the trip a blast. We fell in love with them. They showed off their skills and blew us all away. Lorena was our photographer and she blessed us with almost 500 photos and videos of the day. The quality of photos was incredible and we all loved them. Carlos was our driver and he kept us all safe and also watched our personal items onboard which was super helpful. He was an excellent addition to our tour. Truly have nothing but praise and love for our experience and our guides. Thank you Paddle 9 for an unforgettable day for our family! PURA VIDA!!!!!

We had a really great day on the waterfall adventure with DK, Mike, Lorena, and Gumy. They picked us up on time. The air-conditioning on the bus was broken, but that wasn’t an issue after we started swimming in waterfalls. There was a protest happening in town that caused a huge traffic delay. The team was able to think quickly and divert us to a different beach and a different final waterfall. We ended up having a great day and didn’t get stuck in all of the traffic. They were very careful with safety, Mike even came swimming in the ocean with us to make sure everybody was safe. Highly recommend.

Ismael, Mambo, Damien, Lorena, and Carlos were incredible guides all day long. We had a large group of people and every single one of us loved the entire day! Some of us jumped and slid down the waterfall while others hung back and enjoyed the views. Ismael was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely kind. Mambo was very personable and skilled. Damien was funny and incredibly talented. Lorena took some of the best photos and videos we’ve ever had taken and was incredibly kind. Carlos made us feel safe the entire trip! Each and every person involved was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. The lunch provided was delicious and definitely a one in a kind experience. HIGHLY recommend this experience and would HIGHLY recommend these guides. I believe we will be talking about this day for years to come! Pura Vida🌺

What an amazing day! We thoroughly enjoyed the full-day waterfall tour with the Paddle 9 crew. Corry, Reese, Mambo, Lorena, and Gumi made it an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We went with our 10- and 12-year-old kids, and I really appreciated that safety was their top priority. The guides took the time to teach everyone the proper techniques for jumping from the waterfalls safely, which gave us confidence throughout the day. Thanks to their guidance and encouragement, even our kids were able to do all the jumps and slides! The scenery was incredible, the lunch was delicious, and the entire crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. A special shoutout to Lorena for the professional photos—she captured so many great moments, and the pictures turned out amazing. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventurous, family-friendly experience.

It's not the big popular waterfalls, but it is gorgeous and not crowded at all! The guides are incredible and keep everyone safe. Lunch was amazing! The beach was ok, it was not the kind of beach I expected, but the lava tubes were cool. Lots of bus time, but the guides shared information about the country during the drive and kept everyone engaged and entertained. Awesome photography option.

Our two families of five were staying at Tulemar and booked the full day waterfall tour with Paddle 9. Our tour guides were Ken, DK, Damion and Carlos. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. Not only were they funny, but they were very knowledgeable. We felt completely safe jumping, sliding down waterfalls and flipping off of cliffs. We also loved stopping at an authentic tiliapia restaurant deep in the woods where we enjoyed fresh fish and chicken prepared anyway we liked! We got some great pictures of the falls and made some amazing memories. Highly recommend this tour if visiting the area!

We spent the day enjoying waterfalls, lunch, and a beach with Paddle 9 - specifically Mambo and Ken. They included a photographer (for an extra cost) that added a lot to the trip and our future memories. Everything was great about this trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This was by far one of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica on our family vacation. Our guides (Alonso, Ismael, and Alex) were completely amazing. We had little kids (under 5) on the trip and these guides really made their experience amazing. By the end of the trip I felt like they were all part of the family. The Tilapia farm lunch was amazing and such a cool setting. The guides were very informative and their attention to keeping everyone safe was top shelf! I would highly recommend this experience!!

This was our first full day in Costa Rica and Paddle 9 made it an amazing day! We had no idea what to expect and it was a day full of so much fun and adventure! Ismael, Alonzo, Mambo, and Gumi were awesome guides and made the day so much fun. Lorena took awesome photos so that we will always remember this day.

Fantastic experience! Our guides (Alex, Mambo, DK, Matty) and driver (Carlos) were very attentive to all the needs of our group. We felt incredibly safe and enjoyed all of the waterfall jumps. It was a treat to see Mambo’s tricks! Highly recommend Paddle 9!
