Shout out to this tour company for such a well organized tour. My wife and I were the only ones booked on the 12:15pm but they ran it anyway and we appreciated the personal experience. Captain Jay and our Naturalist Savannah were top notch guides and their years of experience was clearly evident as they knew exactly where to take us to see bald eagles, sea lions, and of course multiple whales that they even recognized and were able to name. The boat was clean, warm, and comfortable--there is even a restroom if you need it. Definitely book with them for you whale watching adventure while visiting Juneau!
This was a fun trip with great guides. Exactly as described. We were able to see whales and so many Bald Eagles!
Sam was informative & friendly on the tour to the boat. Jay and Jade gave us such a great experience on the ship — we saw so many whales, sea lions, & eagles! Snacks are generous and they taught us cool stuff about the wildlife!
We saw whales!! Great experience. Saw four whales with two being a momma and calf. Also saw some sea lions.
Saw some whales but law does not allow to get too close so watch quickly and be ready if your taking pics. Great staff and loved Charlie the bus driver. He was worth the trip!
Fantastic tour! Captain JJ and naturalist were so great! We saw several whales and tails, plus eagles and sea lions. It was beyond expectation! Plus, shuttle driver Charlie was a delight!
The guides were amazing Savannah and Austin were great. We saw both Orcas and Humpbacks. They were on time and very organized . Great company
Captain JJ and the naturalist, Jayd, made sure we were comfortable. We boarded a shuttle where the ships dock on Franklin Street, there are people holding signs for specific tours. The shuttle driver, I think his name was Chris, was awesome-provided us with great information of the area we were traveling to the docks. Once on board the charter - Jayd shared so much information on whales, answered any questions, served hot chocolate or coffee as we started out on the excursion, and at the end of the excursion gave us water and snacks. We saw several whales and as a bonus saw a bunch of seals sunning on a buoy with many others trying to get on the buoy with them. Jayd helped us to get group pictures (there were 10 of us) and of course helped spot the whales This was a great tour and I highly recommend this tour-it will not disappoint! As a side note, Jayd & JJ also do whale watching tours at Maui during the winter - they know their stuff! Sharon from North Dakota
We saw whales at quite a distance. I wished we’d been closer like many of the other boats The naturalists were very informative , knowledgeable and approachable !
Excellent guides and surprisingly hilarious bus driver, Jerry. He has a second career as a stand up comedian - had the whole bus cracking up!
