The description makes it sound like you will be taken to the snorkeling site after meeting with someone at the mall kiosk but you will not have ANY transportation. The equipment was all adequate and in good working condition. The customer service was good.

We are glade you enjoyed using the equipment and the Sea Scooters. We are also ecstatic that we were able to direct you to a fabulous beach, that you were able to see 15 sea turtles. Easy check in and check out of the equipment. Explained how to use equipment in simple terms and pointed out where best viewing would be taking into account the weather that was happening that day.

They sold us a boat and snorkeling tour but was just snorkeling gear. The tour provider is refusing to take any responsibility

We understand you booked using a 3rd party and if this wasn't clear during your booking process you should have reach out to them. All our booking partners provide you with a confirmation email at the time of booking, that explains in detail what you should expect. Showing up the day of your snorkeling adventure and demanding a refund is not our responsibility. However, we do appreciate the feedback as we continue to improve our site.
This is basically an equipment rental place-period. They give you the equipment, a worthless map of the island, and tell you what beaches you shouldn't go to because of rough water. Period.

We understand you chose not to participate because you didn't have transportation, but our team was ready and waiting to provide Our 'Kauai Snorkeling Adventure' package which includes high-quality gear, but more importantly, it includes professional safety briefings and local expertise. Kauai’s ocean conditions change rapidly, the 'map' and advice on where not to go are vital safety measures to keep our guests out of dangerous currents. We clearly state in our 'Before You Go' and 'Exclusions' sections on Viator that transportation is not provided, and we apologize if you overlooked this during your booking process. We wish you the best on the rest of your stay in Kauai."
This is an equipment rental storefront only. The equipment wasn't a nice as our own snorkel equipment. They will give you a map to a beach. We rented 3 of the sea scooters, masks, snorkels, and fins. The battery on one only lasted just over an hour. The other 2 scooter batteries were in the red at just under 2 hour mark. The gentleman who issued the equipment, said no one ever turned in one with a dead battery. Must have a fluke the scooters didn't last long?? We ended up using our own masks and snorkels, we didn't use the fins at all.
Mahalo for your review. The scooters can last upto 45 minutes at full speed and on the throttle continuously. Since your were able to snorkel well beyond our max time is amazing. We are glad you had a wonderful time. You should always use fins when swimming in the ocean. Please be mindful when swimming in the ocean as situations can change without warning.
This was a pretty cool adventure with cool eqpt. Upon booking, I didn’t realize we’d be own though out the day but the manager gave us insight for a great experience. It’s very hard to get an Uber here so at the end of the day we were grateful she came to pick us up from the beach

Absolute rip off! Drove all the way to Lihue and paid $369 for three people to snorkel back in Poipu when could have rented the gear right at Poipu for a LOT less. Expected a guided experience for that price but was just given the equipment and told to bring it back by 3pm. Very disappointed.
Aloha, thank your for your review, however you can rent regular snorkeling equipment near Poipu, but we are the only company that rents Underwater Scooters or as we call them Sea Scooters. All the equipment is due back by 3pm, so we can clean and charger the Scooters for our next fantastic guest, who actually read what they have booked. In the "Whats Included " section you would have read that we "Do Not Provide a Guided Tour". Again Mahalo for your wonderful Review!
You will be on your own. You will drive to the beach of your choice, but it will be only with your party. Pretty simple to snorkel though and using the motorized water scooter thing.

All self guided. They basically give you equipment and a map and you are sent on your way. I would recommend a guided snorkeling adventure where you take a boat out and snorkel. We saw nothing which was disappointing after spending so much money.
Sorry we did not meet your expectations. It is specifically stated there is not a guide in the "what's not included section". Sadly you must have missed the turtle cleaning station, fish, and all the beautiful coral. The snorkeling from our shores are some of the most beautiful reefs on earth. You are right this is not for everyone. Mahalo for your review.
