10 out of 10 experience from beginning to end! We rented e-bikes and rode through the salt flats and shipyards to the beach for the day. Helmets, bike lock and phone holder were available for rent. The rental process was smooth, easy and quick! Had a beautiful day and am super grateful for the kindness and helpful staff. 100% recommend!

We rented two e-bikes directly from the shop in Aveiro for a ride to Costa Nova, and had a great experience! The lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bikes were excellent and very comfortable to ride. She also took the time to explain the best route to Costa Nova, which turned out to be really useful as Google Maps doesn’t show all the new cycle lanes yet. The ride itself was beautiful, and thanks to her advice we could simply enjoy the trip without worrying about finding the right route. Great bikes, excellent service and genuinely friendly help. Highly recommended if you want to explore Aveiro and Costa Nova by bike!

Whilst in Aveiro we wanted to visit Costa Nova and decided that travelling by bike would be good. We visited Biclaria and advised them what we wanted to do. They were super helpful. Informing us of the route and how long it would take. He showed a range of bikes and what the price was for the time we wanted them. He explained the route was fairly straightforward and flat so we opted for the non electric pedal city bikes. The assistant put the route into Google Maps on my wife’s phone and explained some easier ways to pass some of the main roads. We were supplied with helmets and a lock and off we set. The ride there and back was simple enough and was as he said fairly simple and flat, we did get confused once. On returning we had cycled around 20 miles and in hindsight wish we had taken the E-bikes as it was tough at some points cycling into the wind. Overall we were very happy and the bike we had were in a good safe state and the assistance we got at the shop was very good, he explained he was from the Nederlands. I would recommend this rental company if your looking to hire bikes as the service we received was excellent.

Mother and son were very flexible and correct. We rented 4 MTBs and got a helmet and lock. We start at 11 am but unfortunately it started to rain and we took shelter. We called the store to ask if we could make another attempt mss in the afternoon. That was no problem at all! So we had been away for an hour, and were allowed to restart at 2.30pm without any problem! Again for 4 hours. Beautiful route, between lakes and forests, on wooden platform paths and dirt roads. With storks and birds of prey nearby, really handsome!

Bike pick up and drop back really easy. Booked the day before and everything was ready. Helmets provided. As for the bike ride... 27 miles total loop to the lighthouse, Nova stripey houses and on to the Vagueira wind turbine blade before heading back. Completely flat and mostly cycle paths. Very pleasant and easy!

We went to Costa Nova and explained the route very well. We would have had to go from morning to enjoy the coast more. Highly recommended. They also speak perfect Spanish.

Easily accessible and pleasant family business. We found route finding difficult as no maps on offer only the bike shop setting up a route on Google maps which was not straightforward. To get to nice beaches involves cycling for quite a way through industrial port areas and cycle routes are not marked. Seems most picturesque cycling involves quite a long cycle from aveiro through industrial areas.

Great bikes in really good condition. The price per hour is very reasonable. The owner and his family were very helpful and accommodating.

We rented two bikes to ride around town and it was excellent. All the other reviews are correct. The bikes were well tuned (maybe better than my own at home! ) and worked great. Comfortable too. We got their trek style bikes: upright, seat spring and front fork shocks, cushy (but not too cushy) seats. We rode the other recommended ride along the canals and the estuary on a boardwalk. Stopped for drinks and food going both ways at the cafe at the beginning of the boardwalk.
