Great tour with William. We got to experience a range of local food across Malay, Chinese and Indian traditional favourites in a great environment at Whampoa, surrounded by local families eating out. William added to the food experience, telling us tales of Singaporean history as well as contemporary life in this city. He made us feel very welcome and it was a fabulous way to get oriented for future ventures to hawker centres whilst in Singapore.
Our guide Cathy Tan gave us a great tour of Chinatown and a first experience of the various foods on offer at the Hawkers market. We came away with a good understanding of the history of Singapore, the people, and the plan of where the city is going. Our guide Cathay was very passionate about Singapore and she was very generous with her time.

Kristine was an outstanding guide for my Singapore Hawker food tour. She has a wonderful personality and pairs her vibrant enthusiasm with her expertise. The food scene in Singapore is incredible. Kristine curated an amazing lineup, getting dishes from the absolute best stalls. I tried many delicious items I never would have discovered on my own. She is so knowledgeable about the history, ingredients, and preparation of the cuisine that I thought she must be a professional chef! Beyond the food, Kristine is highly intelligent and worldly. She educated me on Singapore’s history, healthcare system, education system, and some of the fascinating workings of its well-organized government. Touring with her gave me a much better understanding of Singaporean life. The pacing and length of the tour were perfect. Between the generous amount of high-quality food and Kristine's top-tier guiding service, the tour fee was an absolute bargain.I highly recommend booking with Kristine if you want a premium, educational, and delicious experience in Singapore!

William Ting demonstrated fantastic local knowledge and experience within this 3 hour tour. Not only did William provide us with a genuine local food experience, he explained Singapore's deep history and evolution over time. We just had the best tour to start our trip to Singapore. Our guide, William, gave us a fantastic introduction to the history, culture and of course foods of this amazing blended city. Before going to the coffee shop and hawker center, we drove across town learning about all the different neighborhoods and oriented to make the most of our stay. We then visited a coffee shop and hawker center, trying the classics and learning how they came to be. William is a great story teller and our two kids enjoyed listening almost as much as tasting. He also provided some great recommendations for the rest of our stay. 10 out of 10 and would recommend to anyone looking to understand the who and the why behind Singapore food culture.
