Ariel's was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food of the region. I especially appreciated how accommodating she was for our group as I used a walker and found walking distances difficult. She arranged our tour around that so I didn't have to do as much walking. Ariel's had a wonderful attitude and we left her feeling as though we were parting with a family member. I heartily recommend this tour if you are looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour with our guide Ariela Bankier. She was so knowledgeable about food, wine, the people, and Italy itself. We could tell she really enjoys her work. She was very accommodating for a member of our group using a walker. She chose the sites as close together as she could, without cutting down the true experience. The food was great, and very plentiful. We even brought home the extra pizza (we tried 4 kinds) , and extra from the appetizer board.The wine was good quality The gelato was wonderful. We shared many laughs, and she made a point of getting to know all 4 of us. I highly recommend this tour.

There are no words! This was more than amazing! Ariela gave the best tour and to say she is knowledgeable is very much an understatement. She knows wine , cheese , the food the culture and died an awesome job explaining it all! Her personality is energetic and fun. We have done a lot of experiences in Italy and other places and this is by far the best! If you are in Pisa this is a MUST!!!!!

Ariela is knowledgeable about the history of food and wine! We were entertained every second! We had a very stressful day( thank you Italy train strikes) and she was so understanding and calmed us all down with some amazing wine and allowing 2 of our party to join us at the second stop because of all the delays, etc.

Ariela's foodie tour in Pisa was exactly what we needed after a day of sightseeing in Pisa and Lucca. It is exactly as published and focuses on local & artisanal products. We tasted a variety of delicious foods and wines and enjoyed Ariela's explanations. She was so passionate and knowledgeable that we felt we had run into an old friend who was taking us around to see the best spots in town. It was a memorable evening and I would highly recommend her tours to anyone traveling to Tuscany.

Ariela is amazing! From the beginning she catered to our every need and planned an amazing trip. She planned everything from restaurants, events, tours, museums, wineries. She even would hang out with us for the day and do everything with us. Bringing us morning pastries. Keeping us out of trouble. Great advice. We got to do the unique things and the more common ones. WE HAD THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME-MOSTLY DUE TO ARIELA. You cannot visit Italy without involving her! Sweet and kind. We would like her to visit us in Oklahoma!

Ariela was a lovely host. She is friendly and welcoming and had set up a variety of tastings in places we would have never found on our own. We learned so much about what the locals eat in Tuscany and how to taste wine like an Italian sommelier. We would highly recommend booking any of her tours. We were so impressed by the Pisa food tour that we tried to book a countryside excursion with her. Unfortunately, she was already fully booked for the week!

As soon as we read Ariela's book about Tuscany we knew we'd like to do a tour with her. I'm glad to say that the experience exceeded our expectations. She took us to places that we would have never found on our own and helped us experience Tuscany like a local. The venues that she selected for the foodie dinner tour felt so authentic and unique and the food and wine were delicious. I can't recommend her highly enough!

We did two tours with Ariela: the Pisa dinner tour, and a private tour in the countryside. Both were wonderful! Ariela is extremely knowledgeable and manages to keep everyone in the group engaged. We enjoyed spending time with her and listening to her stories and we absolutely loved the food and wine that she had picked for our small group. It is clear that she goes above and beyond for her clients.

Absolutely worthwhile experience. We had expressly asked to visit little wineries and places that aren’t on the common tourist-trail. Our preferred areas to explore were either Bolgheri (we love the Super Tuscans) or central Tuscany. Ariela listened, and custom built an experience that hit the mark. Traveling with her as our tour leader opened many doors and we were warmly welcomed everywhere. We definitely got to see things that we would have never been able to find or explore on our own. She is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about food and wine, and our day with her is easily one of our best memories from a fantastic 10 day vacation in Tuscany.
