Ash was great! We didn’t have any luck with the fish even though there were plenty in the camera, but it was still a good experience. The northern lights made a small appearance too.
We loved this tour! Tyson was a great guide. He let my son drill a hole, and we all caught fish which Tyson then cooked for a great dinner. He also kept us updated on the lights so we could go out and see them, and he took photos of us. Great guide, great time!
On the night of February 15, 2025 my family and I went and did this Ice Fishing excursion with Tyson - such a great great guy!! We had the most fabulous time. Best way to fish - to sit in a warm cabin watching the Northern Lights and just waiting for your fish to bite!! Tyson was so helpful to all of us, so good with my kids, a joy to conversate with and an incredible cook - He is the ONLY one ever to get my kids to eat and like potatoes!! Ever since my son keeps telling me to cook my potatoes the way Tyson did and he will eat them!! My daughter caught 5 fish and beat all of us, all the kids enjoyed it even the little one who didn't get to catch anything but she enjoyed making us all hot chocolate and apple cider, lol. Do NOT pass this excursion by, it truly was one of the best nights of my life!!
Tyson was an amazing tour guide! We saw the auroras and soon after came in to do some fishing! My husband caught 2 fish and Tyson cooked one up (delicious!). The hut was warm and the equipment was easy to work with (it was my first time fishing). Tyson created a comfortable environment and got everyone talking. Great time!
Tyson & Hunter were great hosts; a tasty salmon dinner in a reasonably snug cabin...with lotsa good info and appropriate fishing tales.
So good spot, perfect aurora, it was unforgettable memories. Jessica was such an awesome guide!! She was so kind, and gave us such a nice hot chocolate!!! Thank you so much:)
WOW - such an awesome night! Weather did not accommodate the northern lights, but we caught plenty of fish. Made even better by our guide - Tyson, a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating. Highly recommend Tyson and the team 😊
My first ice fishing experience, very exciting. Tyson was a great tour guide/ chef. The group caught a dozen salmon and Tyson prepared it for our dinner. He's a very knowledgeable guide. Cloudy nite so we did not see aurora borealis but had a great time.
Our tour guide is super helpful. Sit on the iced lake, caught some fish, and enjoyed a warm meal, though we didn't see the aurora light (its depending on the weather).
