Amazing sushi experience in Kyoto
A couple of months ago I put up a reel and mentioned that I was going to go to a sushi making workshop when I visited Kyoto this trip (I did the same on my last visit too). Yesterday was the day.
Myself and my brother, Matty, joined the workshop. The workshop is held in a beautifully renovated, 150 year old, traditional Kyoto townhouse. It is simply stunning.
Both instructors are very knowledgeable and speak great English. Kana, the owner (and instructor) is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Kyoto and welcomes any questions that you have about the city.
As you can see, the quality of sushi that they help you create is much better than I thought I was able to make!
The workshops are fun and enjoyable (the instructors love having a laugh) and professional at the same time.
Best of all, you eat what you make so there's one less meal to worry about!

Wonderful experience!
It has been one of the most special experiences we are going to take from our honeymoon trip. Kana is fantastic, her friendliness and closeness make you feel at home cooking. The affection with which he does everything shows how much he enjoys giving workshops. Very fortunate to have been able to share this class with her. The place has a very special atmosphere thanks to its decoration and the play of lights and materials. I will recommend it to all my friends who come to Kyoto without a doubt!

Best family sushi making experience
