I believe this is the best cooking class. The best value and best instructor. The food was delicious, the experience was excellent. I am thankful that I choose this experience out of the many activities in Antigua . If you want a real home cooked meal, outside your home , this is the place . This is a home away from home. honestly all above 100 ! i loved our trip guide ! he was so genuinely so sweet and holistically friendly! the food i’m really picky and biased since im Haitian but the experience of cooking it and learning was really fun! He made us feel at home! made the birthday girls feel special with drinks. the family house was ABSOLUTELY beautiful and the dynamic of the house. i love it all ! i would do again 100%!
This experience I would say was very Amazing form the food to cheerfull atmosphere that Milton provided, we have a great and fun experience in the market and a beautiful view when we where cooking 1000/10 !! ☀️
It was one of the most exciting experiences I’ve ever had! He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and amazing at explaining everything. The market visits were extraordinary we absolutely loved everything we saw, experienced, and learned along the way. It was truly a memorable experience, and we enjoyed every moment of it.
My friend and I had an amazing time on this cooking class and market tour during our girls’ trip to Guatemala! Milton was incredibly knowledgeable about Guatemalan culture, local fruits, and traditional recipes. We loved that this is a family business that Milton runs with his sister and son… it made the experience feel so warm and personal. This cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From beginning to end, the entire experience felt so personal, authentic, and welcoming. We had the opportunity to make traditional Guatemalan dishes including pepián, rellenitos, fresh tortillas, and so much more. We also got to try a variety of incredible local fruits, which made the experience even more special. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and passionate our host was. He took the time to explain every ingredient, dish, and part of the process in such great detail, which made us appreciate the food and Guatemalan culture even more. Nothing felt rushed, and it genuinely felt like he wanted us to learn, enjoy ourselves, and experience something meaningful. Having the class inside his home made it even better. It created such a warm, comfortable, and homey atmosphere that you simply wouldn’t get from a typical cooking class. It felt less like a tourist activity and more like being welcomed into someone’s home to share a meal and learn about their culture. The food was absolutely delicious, the experience was unforgettable, and the hospitality was amazing. I would recommend this cooking class 100% to anyone visiting Guatemala who wants an authentic, personal, and memorable experience. Definitely a 10/10 and something I would happily do again!
Milton and Diego were truly amazing, warm, welcoming and we had a really great group. We felt like we were in a friend’s house cooking dinner. Highly recommend it!
Please book this tour! Regardless if you can or cannot cook the class is made for anyone and you learn so much about Guatemala, its culture and of course the food. Milton takes you to the market, a place we’d never see on our own, and then we learned to cook at his house in a small, intimate setting. 10/10 it was better than I could have imagined.
