Excellent day, well managed, very enthusiastic and informed Caleb was our driver, met and interacted with lots of other guests, learned a lot.
This was so much fun with friends & solo I actually did it two years in a row & it was just as good both times they change up the vineyards. You could also do this romantically with a couple the convenience of the big bus pick up in town it’s fantastic.
Don’t miss this opportunity to visit this lovely island and enjoy some food and wines in great company.
Great day out. Each vineyard was different, variety of presentations with the tastings, great selection of wines. Caleb gave a great history or the island and the development of the vineyards and other activities on Waiheko
Nooroa was the best guide you could ask for. Hilarious, knowledgable and all-around wonderful local who really took the time to show us around the island and let us soak in the beauty of Waiheke. Each winery we stopped at had gorgeous views of the water and the city of Auckland across the way. The staff were friendly, full of information and we did not feel pressured to purchase bottles after the tasting. A wonderful half-day tour.

This Waiheke tour took me to four of the island’s most celebrated wineries, as well as to the stunningly beautiful deserted beach at Onetangi. The wine tastings were presented by knowledgeable guides, with a good selection of different grape varietals and wine styles, including an excellent self-bought lunch at Batch winery. The entire package was a total delight, my only minor gripe being that it would be nice to include the ferry ticket as an option for those not staying on the island.
We did the wine tour with a group of friends, and all had an amazing time.
