Alan was our tour guide and he was great! He cared a lot about the guests, and made sure we were having a great time. He also remembered a lot of the groups names. David was our photographer, and he took the best photos. He was friendly as well. I enjoyed spending the day with both of them
Thank you for your review! We’re happy to hear Alan and David helped make your experience so enjoyable. It’s great to know the service and photos made the day even more memorable. What To Do In Cancun Customer Service Team
Catastrophic from start to finish. When we arrived, we were once strongly advised to buy a scarf for $20, safety glasses for $25 and a MosquitoSpray for twelve dollars. Just rip it off. The three ziplines absolutely unspectacular, the ATV ride around in circles and the feet were almost burned as the engine was so hot. I had to constantly lift my feet up, barely out of durable. We were pushed from one attraction to the next, as if handled on the assembly line. I was glad when it was all over. Absolutely not recommended pure waste of money.
***BEWARE*** — Please read! I am writing this in hopes I will prevent anyone else from having the same experience as us. We made a reservation through the operator “What To Do In Cancun” and we did the ATV, Zipline, Cenote, and Tequila Tasting. First, our transportation that came to pick us up the morning of didn’t have enough seats (we were a group of 8 and there was only 7 seats on the bus). The driver told us we had to sit on each other’s lap if we wanted to do the tour. This made for an uncomfortable ride to the tour. Second, the ATV ride was a really poor experience. We opted to share ATV’s (2 per bike), but they all made us get on single seater ATVs. This meant we couldn’t comfortably sit on the bikes, and most people were sitting on the metal racks because the seats were not meant for two people. The ATVs have written on them “ONE PERSON PER BIKE”, so clearly they were not made for two people, and my husband sustained a cut to his knee. The ride was a joke, we just drove up and down a dirt road. Finally, the locker key given to my friend for the locker did not open his lock. When we told the tour guide, Jay, he handed us a pile of keys and told us to try them all. Meanwhile, he left with the rest of the group to do the tequila tasting. None of the other keys worked, and another staff member had to cut the lock. When we brought these three concerns to “What To Do In Cancun” (this is who we made the reservation with), they basically told us we were lying. They said the bus had enough seats for everyone (there were 14 witnesses that this was, in fact, not the case), they ignored my husbands injury to his knee, and they accused my friend of losing his locker key and claimed they were doing us a favour by not charging us for another. Even though the tour itself was not a good time, the way we were treated by the crowd with “What To Do In Cancun” (specifically Laura and Kevin Avila) was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I am still shocked by how we were treated. Please, please, please don’t reserve any excursions with “What To Do In Cancun”, and we think there are way better excursions out there to do instead.
Dear valued customer, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback regarding your experience. As we have stated in several conversations, both over calls and messages, all of your concerns have been properly addressed, and an internal investigation was conducted regarding the issues with your transportation service and the ATV incident mentioned in your feedback. First, we would like to address the transportation service issue. After our investigation, the evidence showed that the van assigned to your pickup service at your hotel had 14 seats, each one designed to comfortably accommodate a passenger. As previously mentioned, we are prohibited by federal law from carrying passengers on laps for the safety of all passengers and the driver. If we were to engage in this practice, a federal penalty could be imposed. This is why we ensure every detail of our transportation service adheres to safety protocols, including confirming one seat per participant. We even sent you a picture of the van's interior, clearly showing 14 seats, not 8 as mentioned in your review. Regarding the ATV situation, we appreciate your concerns, and we assure you that they are being considered for improvements. We work diligently every day to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all our valued customers visiting our eco park, and we will take your feedback into account regarding the length of the trail. All our ATVs undergo a thorough inspection before being handed over to participants, and our staff is trained to assist in case of any incidents. In your case, your husband sustained only a minor scratch on his knee. According to our safety protocol and to ensure the well-being of our customers, we always offer paid medical assistance, which was the case with your husband. However, you declined this assistance on-site, and even signed a waiver stating you did not wish to receive it. Regarding the locker keys, to avoid misunderstandings, only the customer has access to the key we provide for securing personal belongings in the lockers. Staff members cannot open lockers on behalf of customers. As stated in the report made by our operations team, when a key is lost, as was the case with yours, the lock must be broken, which incurs additional charges. However, we did not apply any additional charges to you. We would like to clarify that we provided you with clear and prompt communication regarding your situation, as it is our duty to ensure every customer receives follow-up and resolution for any discomfort or issues encountered during their experience. We manage multiple customers each year and always strive to provide the best experience possible. Thank you again for your feedback. What To Do In Cancun Customer Service Team
It was an amazing day experience. Our driver was on time and got us where we needed to go. We had a great time. 100% will do again.
Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to hear that you had an amazing experience with us. We're glad our driver ensured you reached your destinations on time and that you had a great time overall. We look forward to serving you again in the future! What To Do In Cancun Customer service team
The ATV ride was a disaster. The equipment was all broken, the guide was terrible, and the roads were rough. They're asking $89 for photos, which is already too much, then tacked on an extra 8% for credit card fees, and overcharged me $104 for the photos. Lockers were supposed to be $5, but when I paid in pesos, he charged me 150 pesos, equivalent to $9. Definitely not the best business practice. I won't be going back.
Dear valued customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent ATV ride experience. We appreciate your insights and want to address your concerns directly. We want to clarify that we make every effort to inform our guests about additional charges upfront. Signs onsite prominently advise of an 8% surcharge for card payments due to associated processing fees. Additionally, while the stated fee for lockers is $10 USD, when paying in pesos, the equivalent amount is 150 pesos, approximately $9 USD. Which $5 USD is refundable for visitors when the lock is return to the guide. Regarding the ATV equipment and guide, we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We aim to provide top-notch equipment and knowledgeable guides to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. We will investigate these issues further to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Regarding the pricing of the photos, we understand your concern. We will review our pricing policies to ensure clarity and transparency moving forward. We value your feedback as it helps us improve our services. If you would be willing to give us another chance, we would love the opportunity to make it right for you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any further concerns or if there is anything else we can assist you with. Warm regards, What To Do In Cancun Customer service team
Our day was AMAZING!!! We had 5 “kids” (17-26yrs old) for a party of 7 and this activity checked every single box for us!!! The transport was super fast, we hardly waited for many location changes. Every activity was was well guided, well explained and well organized! Every single person we came in contact with was super kind and friendly and made of a really fun time for all of us! And the pictures!!!! They have photographers who captures the whole day from land to water which lets you “be in the moment”! As the mom who is always behind the camera out of the action so I can “catch the memories” this was fantastic!!!
If you are looking for an action packed day THIS IS THE ACTIVITY FOR YOU! Highly recommend! 5- Stars
Highly recommend them! Our adventure started with snorkeling. Lets get one thing straight I can't swim and the tour guide Reno and the crew Mary and the Captain all made me feel secure/safe! Specially the Captain which took ME snorkeling since I staid behind because I could not keep up because of the waves. After that the zip-line and the ATVs freaking amazing!! 10/10 recommend!
There is so much fun in this tour. This is all day tour and price is quite reasonable. Guides are also great and polite. Great tour!
Everything was awesome! We booked the whole day trip and we highly recommended it. We started with the snorkeling, the reef it’s beautiful and the staff it’s very friendly then they took us to do the horseback riding and we ended with the ATV’s. Everybody there are so nice! The whole experience was AMAZING! I would definitely book with them again.
