Awesome time with Rena! She was knowledgeable and a great teacher as she taught us some Greek words. Pame! My husband and I got lucky and had Rena to ourselves. It’s a great and quick way to be educated in a short amount of time. Rena gave some awesome tips, which we took her on and were worth it. I’ve never rode an E bike and made cycling very easy.. so if you want a workout and know how to bike, grab the regular (the hills aren’t horrible to maneuver). I wish we did this tour on our first day instead of the last, but nonetheless, we’re happy to have experienced it. Thank you Athens by Bike!

My 12-year old nephew and I went on this tour with Marios . Out luck it was just the two of us and it was such an amazing experience for us both. The route was excellent, very safe and loads of fun. Marios was very knowledgeable and patient and made it a very memorable experience. Voted our best experience in Athens so far

We had a fantastic time touring the city of Athens with Karlios from Athens by bike. The bikes were in good condition and are easy to ride. Karlios is very knowledgeable on the city and gave great information on monuments as well as excellent insights from a passionate cyclist.

Fantastic tour. Learned a ton and had so much fun! Tour leader was exceptional and I would love to do it again!

Fun ride through Athens. Covered a lot of ground to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. Few very manageable hills on the e-bike. Loved riding along cobblestone pathways hearing street artists playing music.

My wife and I joined a bike tour led by Marios in early April, and it was a fantastic experience. The weather was perfect, and Marios was an excellent guide. He took us to interesting spots and shared helpful context about everything we saw, which made the tour much more engaging. Despite having a group of eight riders with varying skill levels, he kept the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. He also offered some great restaurant recommendations that we ended up trying and really liked. The bikes were well maintained and easy to use, which made the ride even more comfortable.

Did the tour one weekend in Feb 2026. About half a dozen in our group. Mostly electric bikes but the odd non electric. Our guide was Alex who was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The tour is not demanding (physically) so is easy with an electric bike and no problem on a normal bike with even moderate fitness. Alex took us around Athens to see a variety of sights. Recommended for a fun few hours.

A fun and informative low impact friendly tour that I have no hesitation in recommending Karolis our guide went above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible in a relatively short timeframe.

Karolis was a fantastic tour leader, explaining how the e-bikes worked and full of interesting info on all the sites along the way. Amazing that we could see so much and yet virtually none of the ride on busy streets. He timed tour so that we arrived at presidential palace just as the guards were doing their unique march and got to top of Observatory Hill just in time for spectacular sunset views of Parthenon. Highly recommended!

The e-bike sunset ride was awesome! Our guide Karolis took great care of us and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves at each stop. We didn’t feel rushed and he shared some of his favorite things about Athens. I would definitely suggest the tour. The bikes are easy to ride and he kept us off busy streets.
