We had Charlie as our guide. He was very knowledgeable with the history of Athens and was very friendly as well. Would recommend to friends. Fun biking around Athen, you cover a lot of ground! Bikes are pedal assist & easy to use.

Our family of four, of mixed abilities/fitness, all loved the whole tour which is largely off-road, and feels really safe as a result. Kostas was our guide and he did a brilliant job of engaging everyone in the group and made the whole experience really enjoyable for everyone. We spotted somewhere on the tour that we later visited for dinner! Highly recommend.

My wife and I had an amazing private bike tour with Kostas, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. Having the tour all to ourselves made it feel much more personal, and Kostas was an incredible guide. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and shared so much interesting history and local knowledge while making sure we were comfortable the entire time. We got to see the major highlights as well as places we never would have found on our own. If you’re visiting Athens, I highly recommend booking a tour with Athens by Bike and asking for Kostas. It was a great experience!

E bikes allow you to travel comfortably over the hills and Jim led an extensive and enjoyable tour. We rode high to the observatory for the best view of the acropolis and he made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. Peter we even got a song out of him (he’s an opera singer as well). Some streets are narrow and full of pedestrians but we got through ok. We added on the acropolis tour, which looked daunting at the start but Katarinab made sure we climbed in stages, finding shady spots and stopping for stories and insights along the way. We were on top before we knew it. Tours are great when the guides clearly enjoy leading and love their cities like this.

Angelos was an amazing tour guide! I took the Explore Athens on Electric Bikes tour last year, but I still learned so many new and interesting things this time. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour fun and engaging. I highly recommend this tour, even if you have already explored Athens before!

This was an absolute great tour in all aspects. E-bike was excellent and made traversing the area easy. Our guide was excellent in keeping everyone together, communicating for safety and sharing information about the history of the Athens. Also provided ideas and suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing.

My sisters and I did this e-bike tour on our first day in Athens, and it really was a fantastic way to familiarize ourselves with neighborhoods, start to take in some views and even get recommendations for local restaurants to try after the fact. Our e-bike guide was named Marios and we loved him- he was super kind and thoughtful in helping everyone learn how to use the e-bike, monitored pace throughout the day, and was super funny with jokes to keep everyone in good spirits. Altogether, our group was about 10-15 people who had different skill levels of riding the bikes- some pros and other novel riders, and Marios was super thoughtful in making sure everyone could follow along on a pace that worked well for us. Throughout the morning, he had us stop at several spots for pictures like the observatory, Hadrian’s arch, local churches, and some epic views of the Acropolis. Even in the heat of July, going on this morning ride through the city was so enjoyable the bikes were easy to use- with up to 5 speeds to choose from depending on your bike (and how much motor assistance you wanted for the hills). If you’ve never ridden an ebike before you’d be able to learn pretty quickly and enjoy the ride! Coupling this great adventure and Marios’ jokes with the super thoughtful follow up emails we received after the trip of local restaurants to try plus a map/extra details of all the places we rode together/saw was an awesome way to kick off our time in Athens and I would HIGHLY recommend it for you!
