Seu passeio em Atenas começa com a colina da Acrópole, que será o ponto alto do seu dia. Na colina histórica, você terá a oportunidade de ver o Odeon de Herodes Atticus, o Templo de Atena Nike, o portal monumental (Propylaea), o Erechtheum e, claro, o famoso Parthenon, o principal templo dedicado à deusa Atena.
O Propylaea é a entrada monumental da área sagrada dedicada a Atena, a deusa padroeira da cidade. Construídas pelo arquiteto Mnesicles com mármore pentélico, seu design era vanguardista. A sudoeste de Propylaea, em uma muralha que protege a entrada principal da Acrópole, fica o templo jônico de Apteros Nike.
O Parthenon, o principal templo dedicado à deusa virgem Atena. O símbolo eterno da democracia ateniense e da civilização ocidental.
O Erechtheion ou Templo de Athena Polias é um antigo templo grego jônico telesterion no lado norte da Acrópole, o lugar mais forte e sagrado da antiga Atenas, dedicado principalmente à deusa Atena.
O Templo de Atena Nike é um templo na Acrópole de Atenas, dedicado às deusas Atena e Nike. Construído por volta de 420 aC, o templo é o mais antigo templo totalmente jônico da Acrópole.
O Teatro de Dionísio Eleuthereus é um dos principais teatros de Atenas, considerado o primeiro teatro do mundo, construído aos pés da Acrópole de Atenas.
Localizado na pendente sul da Acrópole, o Odeão de Herodes Atticus é um teatro de pedra da era romana construído em 161 dC em memória da esposa de Herodes Atticus, Regilla. Renomada por sua acústica excepcional, uma vez ocupou 5.000 espectadores e sediou apresentações de música e teatro. Hoje, serve como um local de destaque para o Festival de Atenas, oferecendo eventos inesquecíveis no cenário icônico da Acrópole.
Após o passeio pela Acrópole, iremos em direção ao Templo de Zeus, o maior templo da antiguidade, dedicado ao Rei dos Deuses, passando pelo Arco de Adriano.
Uma obra-prima de arquitetura moderna aos pés da Acrópole, o Museu da Acrópole apresenta uma impressionante coleção de artefatos dos períodos Arcaico e Clássico, com ênfase especial na Acrópole do século 5 aC. Destaques incluem a Galeria do Partenão, esculturas antigas e a integração notável de um bairro ateniense escavado visível sob os pisos de vidro. O Parlamento Helênico, em grego conhecido como "Voulí ton Ellínon" é o parlamento da Grécia, localizado no Antigo Palácio Real, com vista para a Praça Syntagma. O Parlamento é a instituição democrática suprema que representa os cidadãos através de um corpo eleito de Deputados.
A Praça Syntagma é a praça central de Atenas. A praça tem o nome da Constituição que Otto, o primeiro rei da Grécia, foi obrigado a conceder após uma revolta popular e militar em 3 de setembro de 1843.
O Edifício da Academia constitui uma das três partes de uma “trilogia arquitetônica”. Foi fundada com o Decreto Constitucional de 18 de março de 1926, como Academia de Ciências, Letras e Belas Artes.
A Biblioteca Nacional da Grécia foi construída no final do século XIX, como a última da Trilogia Arquitetônica de Atenas, um conjunto de três edifícios neoclássicos que também inclui a Academia e a Universidade. O edifício foi projetado pelo Sr. Theophil Hansen.
Seguindo em direção ao centro histórico da cidade, subiremos a colina mais alta de Atenas, Lycabettus Hill, onde você terá a melhor vista panorâmica da cidade, desde a colina da Acrópole até o Mar Egeu.

Amazing tour! We enjoyed the acropolis and the museum. The hike is a bit steep and slippery at times but we took breaks along the way. Nancy is the best tour guide!

My wife and I had a wonderful day in Athens with Dimitri, our driver. We had one day to see as much of Athens as possible and we were able to make the most of it. Dimitri picked us up promptly at our cruise ship location at 8:30 am, loaded up our bags and we were off to a fabulous tour of Athens. Dimitri was extremely pleasant and friendly and provided us with a great deal of information about the history of Athens as he took us to see many of the sights that the city is famous for, but also some lesser known, but just as important, to include the Panathenaic Stadium and the Parliament Building (former King's Palace). We even got to witness the changing of the guard. He made several stops for photo opportunities along the way, which we much appreciated, and was always ready to take photos of the two of us. We had ample time to explore the Acropolis area when he dropped us off at the main entrance. Next we toured the Acropolis museum, then were off to hike up to the top of Mount Lycabettus, where we had a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens. As our tour came to an end, Dimitri delivered us to our hotel just in time to check in. It was a very full day, but completed in just 6 1/5 hours. We were able to do so much more in a short amount of time with a private driver because he was able to get us to places where buses were unable to get to, plus we had some flexibility with our itinerary. So much value for our $$. Highly recommend this tour and Dimitri, our driver and tour guide.

I had the absolute pleasure of doing two full-day tours with George and his incredible team of drivers and tour guides, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences of my life. On the first day, we explored the highlights of Athens — including the iconic Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum, and other stunning historical landmarks. Everything was perfectly timed, and the guide’s knowledge made every moment memorable. The second day took us on a breathtaking journey to Delphi and Thermopylae — where we stood on the very ground where the legendary 300 Spartans faced the Persian army. It was surreal and deeply moving. We also had lunch at a beautiful mountain-top restaurant with an incredible view and top-tier food — truly unforgettable. The Mercedes mini-van was in perfect condition, super comfortable, and made the long drives relaxing. The price was also very reasonable for the level of service we received. I absolutely fell in love with Greece — its landscapes, its food, and its people. I haven’t even left yet, and I already want to come back. Eva, our guide, was a fountain of information. We toured the Parthenon, Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and the Theater of Dionysus. As a former archaeologist, she offered great historical information and entertaining mythological stories of all the spots. Giannis out driver was ready at a moment’s notice and navigated the city with ease. Would recommend them both!
