Uma minivan confortável irá buscá-lo em seu hotel ou apartamento em Roma e levá-lo a Assis, o local de nascimento de São Francisco. Você visitará a Basílica de Santa Maria dos Anjos e a Porciúncula, um local de oração. Você explorará as ruas medievais, a Basílica de São Francisco e a Basílica de Santa Clara. Roccaporena é uma pequena e pitoresca vila medieval localizada a poucos quilômetros de Cássia, na Úmbria, e famosa por ser o berço de Santa Rita. No coração de Roccaporena fica o berço de Santa Rita, hoje um importante ponto de peregrinação, onde os visitantes podem conhecer a vida da santa e a sua profunda ligação com o território. A casa foi transformada num pequeno museu, que reúne objetos relacionados à sua vida e espiritualidade. Em Roccaporena existe também o Santuário de Santa Rita, que inclui o convento onde a santa passou parte da sua juventude e a pequena igreja que alberga algumas relíquias que lhe são atribuídas. Outro local significativo é a gruta de Santa Rita, refúgio natural onde a santa se recolhia em oração e meditação.

We had the most wonderful day in Cascia and Assisi with Giuseppe, our guide, and Valentino, our driver. They both went out of their way to make us comfortable and to show us the best of Umbria. We toured some of the most special and holy sites and learned about the real lives of St. Rita, St. Clare, and St. Francis, and we got to see the tomb of St. Carlo Acutis as well. A private guide was waiting for us in Assisi to give us every detail about the history of the city, its cathedrals, and its art. We learned so much! There was plenty of time for rest stops, shopping, and a delicious lunch recommended by Giuseppe. The van was very comfortable and Valentino was a fantastic driver, especially in the holiday traffic. We are so very glad we chose this tour and this company and will definitely use them again when we come back to Italy.

We took the tour to Assisi and Cascia in Spanish with Federica and Maximo. It was truly very good. Very beautiful places, and we had time to visit the sanctuaries and where the saints are. We also had the company of a local guide in Assisi. Thank you, I know it is quite a lot for one day, but it was worth it.

I booked Mamma Mia Italia because they are the best. It was a private tour. We had fun in the van with Giulio and Roberto. Our St. Francis tour who gave us the whole story of St. Francis of Assisi and a Blessed Carlo Acutis was Mark. He is one of the best English your guide in our list. Clear in everything he explains. Very caring and warm too. This tour is our culminating tour of our Family Lenten pilgrimage. We've been to Lourdes, Black Madonna in Montserrat, Fatima in Lisbon, Rome for the Easter Mass, Papal Audience. Visited Padre Pio. Of cour, to pay our respect and visit to Papa Francesco! It was a very deep, meaningful experience for our family. Giulio was very sweet and kind. Assisted us so well and explained whatever he can share to us since we boarded the van.
