O laboratório Gourmet Kitchen da Taino oferece a você a oportunidade de aprender sobre um dos principais produtos dominicanos, "The Cacao Fruit". Vamos ensinar sobre a história do cacau e quais são seus benefícios. A parte divertida começa quando o nosso mestre chocolate começa a fazer a mágica do chocolate, onde você também estará realizando o seu próprio chocolate com as instruções do Mestre. Nós estaremos fazendo algum concurso e entretenimento durante a aula.

This really was a fun activity and we learned a lot while doing this. We got to sample a couple of varieties of hot chocolate as well as chocolate rum and chocolate tea, The tea was amazing. The cost was right for what you get and we laughed a lot. The excursion says its 90 minutes but it was closer to 3 hours with looking at the stores and such, so plan for it to be longer than listed. it was very intimate with only 12 in our group which I think was about perfect.
Loved this so much! Our guide was extremely passionate and informative. You could tell he loved his job and had a lot of knowledge on the subject of chocolate. The chocolate balls we made are reflective of the chocolate the Aztecs made back in their time which I found to be quite bitter - but learning of the history was is quite fascinating. Because the balls are quite bitter we have chosen to add them to some hot milk and sugar it seems to make a great little cup of hot chocolate. The bars we made are delicious! Overall the experience was quite fun! Love learning something new. The store was beautiful and everything was reasonably priced, one could honestly spend hours looking through it all. Everyone was very kind and we felt welcomed. This is a wonderfully unique experience I would highly recommend!
This class was AMAZING My and my homegirl has such a great time! The instructor was fun & friendly! Definitely recommend this class to anyone!
