Descrição
Esta visita combina um passeio a pé pelo centro histórico de Arequipa, conhecendo a sua história, alguns dos seus locais turísticos mais importantes, e combinando-o no final com a degustação e explicação do nosso destilado nacional, o Pisco. Provámos também algumas frutas locais e a nossa emblemática sobremesa, Queijo Congelado. Uma forma diferente de conhecer Arequipa em espanhol e inglês (em francês também é possível, mas com coordenação prévia)

Itinerário
Tradicional bairro de Arequipa, o primeiro lugar onde os conquistadores se estabeleceram quando chegaram à região.
Antes de chegar a este local passamos pelo Convento de Santa Catalina e pela rua do mesmo nome, na Plaza de San Francisco apreciamos a imponente estrutura de sua Igreja, bem como o centro de artesanato Fundo el Fierro.
O encontro será neste local, após as indicações anteriores, começa por falar sobre a fundação da cidade, a mudança que sofreu ao longo do tempo devido aos sismos, a Catedral, e outros pormenores que evocam a memória da praça de armas.
De um lado da Plaza de Armas fica o antigo complexo da Companhia de Jesus. A Igreja e os Claustros. A Igreja destaca-se pela fachada barroca, pelo interior sóbrio e pelos altares revestidos a folha de ouro.
Um dos mercados mais variados e interessantes que existem no Peru. Um local ideal para ver os produtos que são oferecidos na região, tubérculos, carnes, frutas, entre outros.
Antigos claustros do colégio e convento jesuíta. O melhor exemplo de arquitetura do vice-reinado religioso da cidade.

The tour was excellent! We got to know part of the city in a personalized way. My little girl loved the little alpacas 🩷 it's a shame that because of the national holidays we didn't make it in time for the ice cream cheese. My congratulations to Ms. Jessica for her professionalism and kindness.
I had a great time and a lot more about Arequipa than I was expecting. We visited the Llama museum where I learned a lot about Llamas and other Camel species, as well as about pre incan civilizations. Really enjoyed getting in-depth information about the food in the market and the history of Arequipa. Daniel really did a fantastic job. He was great.
We had a wonderful time with Jose : he really knows the city well and told us great anecdotes about the city. The market visit was our highlight: we tried different fruits and meals and kids absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend the tour.
Juan our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable . The tour took a little longer than he planned because I was suffering a knee injury. He did not rush and gave me plenty of opportunities to rest.
Daniel was enthusiastic and very informative. He answered all our questions anout a wide range of subjects and helped us shop at the market. He clearly loves his pisco and we had a great time interacting with him! The pic is of my favorite pisco

Jose was a great tour guide. We visited the local market and sampled many fruit I hadn’t seen before, plus “stuffed potato” and the famous Queso Helado. We also walked around many of the lovely colonial era streets and learnt about the history of Arequipa. The 3 hour tour ended with a Pisco tasting which was also very interesting.
Such a great afternoon with a brilliant and interesting guide! We discovered new streets and alleys and lots about history, culture etc. Do this!
