Great diving experience. I'm a relatively new diver, and Morgan was very patient and knowledgeable. The reef is absolutely beautiful and right in front of the dive shop (short boat ride).
The team at Alux Divers were friendly and professional. Alex and Chris onshore were very accommodating. Gabriel was an excellent dive master - his safety briefing and pace under water were perfect. As divemasters ourselves, we appreciated that he was able to provide location-specific information. Highly recommend! Note: if you are prone to seasickness, be sure to double-up on your meds. The rolling waves in the small boat defeated my scopolamine patch. Should have also taken some meclazine.
So very thankful for Pablo our Dive Master!! He taught me how to hunt lion fish and I got my first one!! So excited !!! My boyfriend did discover scuba and without Pablo he would have never made it down. He was exactly what he needed to overcome his hesitations. Rafa was a great captain and Julia and Alex made the process of booking and getting there seamless. I will definitely dive with them again !
I did two dives in early February 2023 with AluxDive. Very professional diving center, Alux and his team are very friendly. Good equipment. Competitive price (cheapest in Mahahual). Alux is professional and takes care of these customers. Diving was done a few minutes from Mahahual boats on coral reef well preserved. I enjoyed it very much and recommend with my eyes closed.. Alux and Lisa were fantastic!!! Very patient and helpful 👍 My granddaughter and I are not experienced divers, but they treated us as if we were seasoned participants! Highly, highly recommend this Dive Shop👏👏👏
Excelent service and staff. Best option in mahahual. Coral reef is amazing. New equipement and facilities. Low prices.
Thanks for the nice two dives and spending time during the day. We had a lot of fun with alex and my friend jorge. Two nice spots with perfect guides. Perfect for beginners and OWD‘s. Try it with locals !
Had an amazing first time with Alex! He was through explaining everything and very calming. I would absolutely come back and do it again! I loved it and the reefs were beautiful!!
Our dive with Alex was awesome, he’s an excellent instructor, guide and person to spend a day with! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, making you feel 100% safe and looked after at all times. Que buena onda muchas gracias Alex!
I hadn't dived in awhile but Alux immediately put me at ease. Turtle and lobster. Alux helped me with my breathing(2 in and 4 out). Cabbie was a @#!% but Alex great. I'm going back to give Alux the tip he deserves. (The cabbie was rushing me). Great job Alux!
