We previously did whale watching with Thalia, and had high expectations for the walking city tour - she didn't disappoint! This was the perfect introduction to Puerto Vallarta with a mix of history, art, nature, and architecture. I've been to Puerto Vallarta before but knew very little about the city or the bay, and really appreciated Thalia's knowledge of the area. It was the right amount of walking and the right length - not too much, even on a very hot day - helped out by a candy store stop! The tour was a hit with kids, too, ages 7-13.
My group all agreed that our day in Puerto Vallarta was the best of our trip thanks to our walking tour with Thalia. Thalia was engaging and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the city, the bay, local life. instead of just telling us about the statues along with boardwalk, she engaged us in trying to figure it out. We tasted lots of local street foods and visited a fruit vendor, sweet shop and a fresh tortilla maker. She explained some of the local religious and political history. We saw beautiful cobblestone alleys and vantage points. I also enjoyed the local restaurant she recommended - a very authentic experience. Well worth it!
A day on land is as fun as a day on water... The city has a lot to offer and explore, the secret is to become part of it by using all your senses: Sight, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling but also imagining how it was and what it can become. I enjoyed every minute with your family and was pleasantly surprised to have amazing answers from your thoughts about the statues and life. Looking forward to seeing you again for a new adventure
