Warning #1: the Rijksmuseum does not accept Viator ticket barcodes. They say Viator tickets are invalid. So do NOT any from Viator. I am currently fighting to get my money back. Warning #2: Viator charges more than double the price of a the standard entry ticket price if you just show up at the door.

The museum accepts only its official e-tickets for entry. If the original e-tickets we provided had been presented, they would have been accepted. The Viator booking voucher itself is not valid for admission. Regarding the pricing, our rates reflect several factors, including additional surcharges, taxes, and the flexibility we provide. For example, our platform often makes tickets available even when customers cancel their bookings at the last minute, helping more visitors secure entry to the Rijksmuseum when availability is limited. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make our instructions even clearer for future travelers.
My voucher was just for entrance, no tour. I presented the voucher at the entrance and it wasn’t accepted by their scanner. Very frustrating and embarrassing experience. I looked through booking messages and I didn’t see any directions regarding using a different entrance or access point than the main entrance. They tried scanning other versions of the same voucher with no luck.

The museum did not honor tickets in; had to buy new tickets at the door; no response from Viator on issues. Will never use this app again in the Netherlands.
