Bitterballens! This was a great experience when first arriving in Amsterdam. We ended up getting bitterballen whenever we stopped for a quick drink/bite. There was an informative video and lots of food to taste from! Spiral staircase to get down to basement!
Great experience for a trip; Luiz was a great presenter. Learned a lot. I think they opened just a month ago. And I have to say, this was a nicer experience than a boat tour. Thank you again Luiz, Hope to see you all again some day.

Amsterdam Dutch Food Tasting with 12 Traditional Dishes – Review Our Dutch food experience began when we were greeted warmly by our host Luiz in a private, cozy downstairs room at the Morelang Restaurant. Luiz was wonderful and knowlegeable in current and old-time Dutch foods and preparation. We asked lots of questions learned much about Amsterdam history, Dutch land reclamation efforts, foods, lifestyles, canals, houseboats, attitudes and cost of living in the Netherlands. We loved the entire event and sampled classic foods, cheeses, breads, cookies, licorice, liquor and sweets. The presentations also included a video which we found informative, entertaining and with some humor. We loved our experience and would highly recommend it to any visitor visting Amsterdam.

A wonderful experience to know the Dutch history in a summarized way, including many Dutch savory and sweet snacks, cheese, liquor and drinks. Luiz the guide did an incredible job of taking care of us and giving us all the great information regarding the snacks and drinks, step by step. Overall, it was fantastic and highly recommend everyone to do it.

Just a very nice quite unusual food experience, learnt a lot about different areas of The Netherlands . Best bit was ( aside from the lovely) food was the chatting with the charming guide & other people people on the tour who all discussed the Dutch palette & idiosyncrasies together what a lovely day.
