Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot on this tour! The pace was comfortable and the route was not crowded. I would recommend this to people genuinely interested in a deep dive of how the Holocaust impacted the city and its people.
Very thorough and in depth with Aaron, an excellent guide with a wealth of information. I would highly recommend visitors to do this when they come to Amsterdam.
Aaron was knowledgeable in the subject Being Irish and speaking fast made it somewhat hard to understand sometimes but he was open to questions and we had enough time wondering around the jewish quarter
Excellent tour! As someone who tries to go on Jewish Tours in all cities I visit, I learned so many new things on this tour. Thank you!
Aaron was an excellent guide! We learned so much about the area, but perhaps more importantly, the psychology of the Dutch and Hitler’s henchmen during the occupation. I definitely recommend this tour!
The tour guide was great. He led us thru the Jewish ghetto of WWII and answered questions and showed us how the Dutch honor those Jews killed in the Holocaust . I felt the tour was interesting and well done.
Our guide was James and he was awesome! He was knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. We learned so much and he had such a nice way about him. Highly recommend!
We had a very informative tour led by James. He is a very knowledgeable guide who shared a lot of history/information at a very comfortable pace
It was a great walk through the Jewish Quarter. Aaron clearly knew his history and inserted great information we would have missed just walking about in our own. He had great reverence but also had a great sense of humor. We walked away more informed and appreciative.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're happy Aaron helped bring the Jewish Quarter’s history to life with both knowledge and humor. We appreciate you joining us!
James, our guide on the Heritage tour was superb. His family lived the history of the tour, so he was able to personalize and add fascinating details, we may have otherwise missed. He was passionate about the history of the area, and discussed how it is viewed today by the Dutch. James shared information about the National Holocaust Memorial (Dutch Theatre), the Dutch Resistance Museum, the Holocaust Memorial of Names, as well as the Joods Museum and the Portuguese Synagogue. He was personable and had a terrific speaking voice! Thank you so very much!
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're delighted that James's personal connection to the history added meaningful insight to your experience. It's wonderful to hear the tour was a highlight of your trip.
